The Cleveland Indians today announced RHP FRANK HERRMANN underwent reconstructive surgery on his right elbow this morning in New York City at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. David Altchek performed a ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction on Herrmann, who has an expected rehabilitation period of 12-to-18 months. Herrmann last pitched on February 25 vs. the Oakland A’s in Phoenix and will miss the entire 2013 season.
