As long as you are logged into the site, it should show up on the top left hand corner of any non forums page on the site. And you should already be chat logged in. Let me know if that is not the case.

You guys are so wrong. These are kids with maturity issues, we should be supporting them, not mocking their indiscretions for our own amusement and...

yeah, I'm in.

Rules questions:
1) When do you get points - on an arrest or conviction? Because we're all innocent until proven guilty in this country, right?
2) Do you get full points for Crabtree going down for rape, since that is a known chance, if he is indeed arrested? Or does that just inflate his already sky high stock?
3) Do we draft individual offensive players and then the "Ravens D" like fantasy? Because that would be easy.
4) If we, say, get one of our players drunk and lure him into a situation where he gets arrested, is that kosher or considered tampering? I'm asking for a friend here.
5) I hate Ray Lewis. Just putting that out there.
6) Is Mel Gibson a former athlete?

Arrests not convictions. Crabtree is full points, and is the Andrew Luck of this draft. Individual players, no team units. Completely legal to try and lure any athlete friends into an arrest.

OK typing in pup - perkins brought up a small little box in the bottom right, saying no users online, with a tool bar and a search field.

Yeah I figured that I could only use that one once.

When I was chatting I got all sorts of backlash and attitude with that log in as well, I'd hate to be that guy all the time.

OFFICIAL RULES

$25 per player, winner take all. I'll throw in a $50 gift card to the place of your choice to sweeten the pot and knock people off the fence. I can see this thing growing each year.

We'll draft 10 current or former athletes each (American sports leagues). If retired, they must have had at least a five year professional career. No min age, college athletes OK. Max age of retired athletes is 50 years old as of Feb 1. Must be 50 or younger on Feb 1, 2013. Basketball, football, and baseball players only.

Point system. Most total points from their team of 10 when the ball drops on Dec 31, 2013 wins. Points awarded on arrests, not convictions. If charges are thrown out before the year ends, you lose the points.

Death - 100 points

Various arrests (arrests not convictions) point chart, points accumulative if more than one apply. Resisting arrest charge is an extra 20 points on top of any of these.

Murder, attempted murder, manslaughter - 80 points
Sexual assault or any other sex crimes - 60 points
Drug smuggling or trafficking - 60 points
Invoulantary manslaughter - 50 points
Burglary, kidnapping, robbery - 50 points
Forgery or financial crimes - 40 points
Assault, battery, domestic assault - 40 points
Drug possession/use - 30 points
DUI's - 30 points
Reckless driving, driving crimes - 30 points
Weapon possession - 30 points
Any other arrests - 20 points
Grab bag ...

Steroid/PED suspension levied - 50 points
Public admissions to extra marital affairs - 40 points per confirmed mistress
Legal name changes - 30 points
Filing bankruptcy - 30 points
Apologies for tweets - 20 points a pop
Pictures posted to web showing them half naked, doing drugs (Phelps), or noticably drunk (Roethlisberger level or worse) - 20 points a pop

I think we should be able to drop/add players to tweek our rosters without penalty for a week. Kind of like a preseason or something.

We will be drafting 120 players. What if everyone you thought of is gone by the 6th round? Just say that you can add/drop players in this thread for a week.

That's fair. First come first serve pickups/drops in this thread for one one week. So rosters will finalize and the contest will officially begin on Wedns, Feb 6 at midnight.

With regards to college athletics, is it just D-I athletics? or are D-II and D-III athletes eligible to be drafted too?
