It's official, the stadium has been renamed. Anyone care?

Very ironic considering that building has had no energy whatsoever these last 13 years.

First in Energy; last in AFC North.

Better yet how about First Enema Stadium. Enema bags full of expensive, crappy beer hanging at all seats. Seats equipped with stainless steel nozzles for that full on disciplined feel to keep you in your chair during any unlikely excitement.
Browns are an irrelevant and comical organization

The place is no longer a factory of sadness. Now it's more a generator of despair.

Why does a utility monopoly feel the need to advertise? Seems this waste of money could be used to improve their infrastructure or maybe lowering utility rates. Oh well, it ain't my money.

I know AEP and Chesapeake are starting to encroach on FEs territory, but the majority of people really dont have a choice in who provides their power.

I don't get this either, my guess is its a prestige thing. Now they can boast to some congressman "Hey where kind of a big deal, we got our name on a NFL stadium, now let us Frak the shit out of that National Park, and here is a endless supply of loge suite tickets"
"I don't think they're building chemical weapons in Berea. But they might be. I can't say for sure."

IMO all football stadiums should be named after the team, it just sounds right. Baseball and basketball not so much outside of few traditional and obvious ones.

I thought we were talking about the U of Akron stadium
"Cocaine is a hell of a drug" - Originated from a famous skit in Dave Chappelle's "Chappelle's Show". The skit would portray Rick James, usually high on cocaine, preforming doing crazy and stupid things, such as smacking Charlie Murphy in the face. Rick James would frequently explain away his actions by saying "Cocaine is a hell of a drug".

At the press conference, the First Energy spokesperson was asked a two-part question:
1) What about your customers who are concerned that their rates will go up because of this, and
2) How do you do this in light of the recent lay-offs at First Energy.

The guy went completely politician and completely avoided the question.

Does First Energy even provide the actual power to Cleveland Browns Stadium?

So the taxpayers that paid $300 million the factory get the $75 mil naming rights then?

Nope, that goes into the Hicks pocket. Every cent. Watch him turn around and ask the city for more money for "architectural" improvements.
