It's this kind of out-of-the-box thinking that the NFL is sorely missing.
Bench one of the best 4th quarter clutch time QB's ever for Tim freakin' Tebow. Why has no one suggested this before?

Kaepernick was drafted in 2011. And much earlier then I thought he'd be (and everyone else as well). Wouldn't have minded a third-round flyer on him, SF decided to jump on him early in the 2nd. Just like I thought Wilson was drafted early by Seattle.
This is why I'm not a NFL personnel guy, and also why I hope the new Browns GM is the guy from San Fran.
