Looks like SHUR will play WEEDS and TRIch next week. Even though they are hurt. Just let that soak in for a second...

...now try to think of a reason why he should be on the sidelines next week.

Now remember how they got hurt. A blown o-line call leaving the fastest big man (Von) in the NFL unblocked. To wit SHUR says, "He's got to get rid of that ball. It's a hot read." A hot read? A HOT READ? You fucking jackass...

...now try to think of a reason why he should be on the sidelines next week.

Trich gets his leg rolled on the 3rd consecutive Hail Mary with less than a minute to play and down by 3 TD's. O-line is so gassed they can barely move. Entire team is pissed because Colt is being hung out to dry. Bronco's are headhunting and SHUR keeps calling the same play over and over and over and over...

...now try to think of a reason why he should be on the sidelines next week.

A sincere FUCK YOU :fu: to SHUR. To the rest of you...Merry Christmas! :santa:

Perhaps Lerner/Holmgren pressure is not quite the same as Haslam/Banner pressure? I never liked the guy from the jump, but he has clearly cracked and completely lost his mind. The trainwreck of play calls at the end of the game yesterday was criminal.

Couldn't find anywhere else to link this, so placed it here as the "anti-SHUR" approach.

Previously not a fan of Pete Carroll, but it seems as if the guy has a philosophy that works, especially with younger players. Also like how he recognizes how much the game is changing.

Couldn't agree more - always thought of Carroll as a major douche (still do), but methods that previously seemed downright stupid have worked for them. He certainly thinks outside of the box, which is a damn rare thing in the NFL.

Here's a gem from SHUR regarding now backup Johnson "In the event he has to go in there, we'll pare it down and let it rip.''

Pare it down eh? - so two plays instead of seven?

At this point, Shurm's only got this one play lined up for the Steelers:

Though I admit it's pretty cool to just call "run" or "pass".

SHUR: "Hmm...I think this time we'll call pass...oh wait...3rd and 4?...better call run...hmm..."

*TWEEET* Delay of game.
