Boy does SHUR have Weeds on a short leash. Which may or may not be a bad thing.

Damn...our defense when healthy is pretty darn good. Imagine how good they'll be with some more DB's and a pass rushing end.

Good coaching there. Shanahan used to always pull that offsides BS with Denver. All least they were on it.

I have been trying to believe in Weeden and thought all season long that he was being held back by the play calling. Today for the first time I get the feeling that he just doesn't have "it". That being said, we need to keep building a strong team and then look for a FA quarterback when all the other pieces are in place.

I wonder if Shur's play calling is/was a result of McCoy and Weeds inability to digest and execute the simplest of NFL plays...

Very much dislike Shurmur, but I do like the "we're running Richardson again try and stop it" TD to end the half.

I'm not sure what the SHUR was trying to accomplish with that coverage, but it certainly wasn't defending the endzone from a TD.

I'll agree with that. Especially when you factor in that ours is 29 years old. :gah:

That's the silver lining I'm taking out of this game. A loss here should shut up all the morons who were stupid enough to think wins over the Raiders and the Chiefs were signs Shurmur was learning how to coach, instead of realizing it was a sign Heckert had upgraded the talent of the team.

This.

Right here this.

Is the reason why I've distanced myself from watching the Browns this year.

I've never seen a group of whinier fans. "WELL WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN RG3".

SHUT UP. And it's not been just this board, but everywhere.

This team is clearly showing signs of improvment across the board.

"b-b-but he's not good enough! I want a Tom Brady/Peyton Manning/Aaron Rodgers"

again, don't care. it's damn near infuriating to read this board as of late because that has been the exact pattern of posting.

To dust off an old chestnut, don't like it, "Go root for the 'skins"

Yup. Any time you can get a guy that can get 2 and a half every touch, like today, gotta trade up.

Need a guy to finish off a 6 yard drive? Trade up for him.

Any time you get a guy that effects an offense less - way less, than Alfred Morris or Kirk Cousins, you gotta trade up.

Every time TR scores a touchdown or makes a good play, get on here and post - ignore the fact the team is moving the ball worse than about anyone in the league, just keep postin.'

Not sure what part of a particular running back not really effecting moving the ball positively is all that complicated. You got about 6 years of weekly data that backs it up.

But, go TR, great pick....I guess.

Can't hear you over the sobbing from the entire fucking fanbase.

need a fucking tissue?

Richardson by the way right now is on pace to tie Jim Brown's rookie season in terms of rushing yards. All while playing at "80%".

We gave up what? a 4th round pick to move up for that? oh boohoo.

Step back from the ledge, Ringo...it's a opinion. I'm merely disappointed in Brandon Weeden's performance.
Waiting for the day when "Next Season" actually becomes "This Season."

Colt wins the same number of games and doesn't cost them a 1st rounder

Fuck Colt McCoy with a chainsaw.

Certainly. But a similar level of production wouldn't have cost #22.

Richardson by the way right now is on pace to tie Jim Brown's rookie season in terms of rushing yards. All while playing at "80%".

I'm sure JB will be along to remind everyone how many fewer games it took for him...

JMHO but, I think Heckert's fate was sealed today by the performance of Cousins

If Schurmur had a chance to immitate a Wallanda he blew it with today's underwheliming performance by a poorly prepared team
