Playoff Obstacle Thread

This isn't about how there's no chance in hell the Browns go 3-0 in the last 3.

It's about which teams need to lose in order for that purple unicorn to fly.

Cincy's one of those, and the Bengals playing the Eagles tonight are just proving to me they are the dumbest team in the NFL. Cincy likes their players IQ's and 40 times to be roughly the same.

Nick Foles. Nice pass.

Andy Dalton and Matthew Stafford must thank the Gods every day for AJ Green and Calvin Johnson making them look almost like competent QB's.

Philly so has Cincy where they want them. If anyone can lead a bumbling team of quitting underachievers back from a 24-13 deficit, it is Nick Motherfarkin Foles.

The bad thing about a Cincy win here is we must root for Pittsburgh next week against them. Unless Pittsburgh wins Sunday, in which the fantasy is over and then screw the inbreds, go Cincy.

We also lost to the craptastic Bengals team. Honestly, the Bengals are so over rated it isn't funny.

If Pittsburgh beats Dallas this weekend, then the playoffs are toast for us (since then next week the winner of Pitt-Cincy will be 9-7). Then again, we'll probably lose to the 'Skins anyways.

For Peek, who is either reading impaired or can't resist his impulses:

This isn't about how there's no chance in hell the Browns go 3-0 in the last 3.

It's about which teams need to lose in order for that purple unicorn to fly.

We've been perfectly aware of the Browns related obstacles and if we would somehow forget we've got you to remind us every day.

Funny none the less.

Seriously, I laughed out loud when I saw the thread initially. Wondered Sunday if the talk radio mentality would reach the boards.

It did. It's very Kylie & Booms and Bull & Fox. ;-) ;)

We win, Dallas win. That's all there is this weekend. No other game matters.

And Peek, Weeds is will not be the reason we lose. Not to any of the teams left on our schedule. Shurmur, yeah, probably. But Weeds will play safe and not make any game losing mistakes.

Exactly what I'm looking for out of my first round QB. The Browns play three more games. Weeden is the 4th best QB out of those games and at some point a a QB (and a 1st round QB) will need to actually out play and out perform the guy taking snaps for the other team.

Not to mention I do not have the same faith and confidence as you that #3 is capable of going three games without making mistakes.

I hope he does. I'd love to see these boards next week if Weeden doesn't shit himself, the Browns win and the Steelers lose in Dallas.

I do think he can put up some numbers against Washington. So there's a chance this playoff dream can continue.

Because then this thread will get even more kinds of awesome.

Riiiiiight. Exactly the same.

Hells yeah I'm gonna pump as much playoff bullshit as I can out of this week. It'll probably be gone by Sunday evening.

By the way, my daughters liked your movie. You know, How Peeks Stole Christmas.

Personally, I thought it was disturbing that you didn't wear any pants.

It's okay and it's understandable. You're preoccupied with playoff possibilities and straw men. If one's not calculating playoff odds and scenarios they're whiny.

This entire thread and pretty much every other one just got a little more meaningless. Not saying that in a derogatory or condescending manner, just that with the events of today I've lost any desire to dick around for the time being.

For the record, we all agreed a few weeks ago, Peeks is Booms. Which automatically makes Hiko Kylie.

Gotta defend my boy Peeks here.

Booms is a complete idiot that should be neutered immediately so he can't reproduce.

Peeks shares some of his bad qualities, but he's not nearly as over-the-top. He'll just call you a homer for predicting 6 wins or come to your party uninvited and shit in your 7 layer dip because HE doesn't like guacamole and therefore NO ONE should eat it.

But not every word that comes out of his mouth is TOTALLY retarded, and his voice doesn't sound like someone's shoving a bowling pin up his ass.

Wow, Pittsburgh, all kinds of dumb trying to go long from deep in your own territory with 20 seconds left. Easy to see that INT coming. And thus ends the Steeler season.
