One could say that simply killing him would solve all the NFL problems and return it to its former quality. But the next guy would do exactly the same thing.

It's all about Covering Their Asses from the bevy of concussion lawsuits that will eventually kill the game altogether.

I don't see how it can be saved at this point.
It's only progress if you eventually get somewhere.

Instead of a kickoff, the team that scored would then take the ball on its own 30-yard line in, essentially, a 4th-and-15 situation. In other words, they could attempt to keep their offense on the field and try to pick up 15 yards, at the risk of turning the ball over on downs; or they could punt.

I'm sorry this doesn't even make sense. Make it take it?

Why allow punts if you're discontinuing kickoffs?

Fuck it, why even keep score anymore.

Was just talking to my friend about this and he recommended that Touchbacks should be taken out to the 25 (like in college) thus giving incentive for teams to take them; which would also enhance player safety.

But boy o boy goodell is such a dirtpile. I think he feeds off of the hatred this country gives him.

Any decision on this would have to be ratified by the competition committee right?

And how many / who / how / is the competition committee made up of? Anybody know this?

I don't see this bullshit actually happening... I'm just curious...
