Not even as good/impactful as Ogletree or Jones. Frankly, as NYC invite for the Heisman will be yet another bullshit invite for an overhyped player just because Catholic Nation wants it....

Doesn't Jarvis Jones have that wierd spinal condition that ended Lee Suggs career ? IIRC even USC wouldn't let him play. I couldn't pick him high.

Right now, I'd take Millner if I were the Browns.

Shazier has better numbers than Teo this year. He has more tackles, more solos (by alot), more TFL, more sacks and more FF. The only place Teo has better stats is ints.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Yep, no arguments he is a very good player, but a Heisman finalist? THAT will be the atrocity.

Leave it to ND Nation though....

Johnny Football is a no brainer at this point unless there is anti-freshmen bias.

And F U Oliver Cromwell.

Johnny sets the record for 2nd place votes, because of that bias. In this shitty ass year though, that might be enough to win the GD thing.

Being such a shitty year is also why Te'o gets a top 5 finish.

Anyone know the vegas odds right now for the winner?

That's bullshit. Just because there's a postseason ban does not mean that he didn't carry an OSU team with an uncharacteristically poor defense to an undefeated season.

Yeah I know he broke Cam's total yardage SEC record, but Johnny is winning the Heisman cuz of 2 freakin throws against Bama. Braxton carried the team all year.

Don't remember a race like this without a legit front runner.

Braxton doesn't even deserve to go to NYC either, lets be real.

Agree with this. The fact that JF broke Tebow and Cam's records for total yardage, playing in the SEC, and will get passed over by Te'O because he GETS PIX LIKE A BAWS is completely ridiculous. Manziel (and his HC, who is absolutely a pimp) wasn't even expected to be competitive in that division, and they've played like nails all year.

This year, Braxton couldn't hold Manziel's jock.

JF will win it, make no bones about it.

My NYC list is probably

Johnny
Klein
Lee
AJ

Agree that in a normal year, Braxton, with his good but not great numbers, wouldn't even be in the conversation, and in recent weeks he has fallen out of the conversation even in this down season.

Yeah, that is the thing, Braxton closes strong against Wisky and scUM and he 100% deserves to go, but he ended the season limping to the gate....

Braxton needs to learn his reads and throw the ball next year. He takes far too many negative plays. If that gets him a Heisman, Great, but if he does not then there is no way that OSU is competitive against nationally elite teams.
