Only hope the Browns have of staying competitive is if they can keep Ware off of Weeden, get a few passing td's, stay on top of the TOP battle (which they've been awful at all year) and win the turnover battle.
Should be an entertaining game, but I don't harbor much hope of a Browns win.

Dude's an assistant coach but gets a ton of tv burn, probably because they detest Jason Garrett so much.

What's that based on? Since Haden has returned the Bengals are the only team that has managed to throw two TDs in a game against the Browns (in a game the Browns won) and the Boys have one of the worst redzone passing offenses in the league. Obviously with Haden out that changes things dramatically but with him in at 100% it's not based on much of anything. Romo has only had 3 games this year where he threw for more than 1 TD and the first one included a fluke performance by Ogletree.Only hope the Browns have of staying competitive is if they can keep Ware off of Weeden, get a few passing td's, stay on top of the TOP battle (which they've been awful at all year) and win the turnover battle.

It's almost a given that Ware will underperform to his stats. I'll go back and look but I don't believe any major rusher has had an impact against the Browns this year. Mitchell and Thomas have been stellar at pass protection on the edges. The key for the Browns is whether or not they attack the Boy's run defense or whether they revert to the first half folleys of passing 60+% of the time. Richardson is healthy and has put together back to back 100+ yard games against teams that were working to minimize the run. Sit back and set up for big plays over the middle. Attack the Boys the same way that Seattle and Baltimore attacked them - both teams that have similar ground game to the Browns and QBs that can attack downfield (tho Flacco is much better than Wilson).
Defensively the Browns should be focused on goading Romo into making bad decisions and trusting in the front 4, healthy for the first time this year, to prevent Felix Jones from being able to get any traction. The Cowboys have big WRs but they are very inconsistent and Witten has been underperforming with about 50 ypg and only 1 TD on the year.
Anyone who bet on the Browns to win would be a fool but a team off the bye week healthy on both lines and at all the skill positions sans Haden generally has an edge on the team they're playing. With as many rookies as the Browns have there's no telling how they'll respond to the bye but they are just as likely to have had a chance to really take a breath and adjust for the first time since they came into the league.

That was two hours of fun in the dark gutting it and trying to drag it and my gear in the dark. Instead of watching the Browns idiocy today I'm back out again and hoping for the same brutal drag.
I'm having the 12-yr old daughter watch the game and text me updates. That will be the basis for the Browns portion of the Weekend Wrap that I'll write when I get home.
Yeah... it's come to this. I'd rather sit in a tree 20' above the ground and hope an animal is dumb enough to walk into arrow range so I can get elbow deep in blood, guts and shit and kill myself trying to get it out of the woods as opposed to watching this team play football.
