I remember seeing two of the blocks, plus his block on Trich's goal line run was a total whiff, too. The fact that he makes it out onto the field every week is just mind bending to me.

Like seeing the Chemistry between Weeden and these receivers; the offense generally didn't look bad at all today, going to be nice to see Weeden grow with these kids next year when we get a coach and OC that don't have their heads up their asses.

That Josh Gordon drop officially ruined the game.

Yeah, this loss will resonate with the new management; poor decisions from the get-go, not the least of which being why the fuck we couldn't establish any kind of a running game against a team that is one of the worst in the league at stopping it.

I hope the reporters eat him alive today.

Also: Hodges is completely shit, and I have no problem with him saying so in his presser.

Weeds played pretty well. Avoided the big mistake and put the game winner on the hands. Deserved a better outcome.

Also, I think you gotta grade him a little higher weekly compared to others because this staff is chock full of morons. Owen Marecic, seriously, is the worst player in the league. He's this because A. He stinks - can't block, drops passes etc. and B. He helps telegraph every damn play he's in there for. Wilcots was right on the goal line play, but he failed to mention the last two years of plays, especially run plays, that the defense knows exactly what's happening. I've mentioned this before, two big NFL guys, Lombardi being one who's mentioned it this year AND last, that he will call a friend of his who is a coach, and give the Browns down and distance, players on the field and formation - and from this information only, the coach will tell him exactly who got the ball and where over 70% of the time. Think this is bullshit? Rewatch Browns running plays. Or ask the number one pick where 8 yards on 8 carries comes from.

There's two coaches in this friggin league that don't understand the negative value of punting the ball from beyond midfield with 6 minutes left. EXTREMELY NEGATIVE VALUE. You won't find a stupider decision the rest of the day. Unfortunately, one of those coaches is the hump they have now, and the other was the hump they once had. Good holy Christ is it humanely possible to have the two worst coaches in the NFL back to back? Almost impossible. By the way, especially if your "1985 ground and pound team."

If Billie Wynn were a baseball player leading off first, and the pitcher went with the fake third, throw to to first pick-off move that never works - he'd be halfway to second.

Love that Haslam was there AND pissed. (wonder how many away games Randall made it to in the last 5 years) Don't care if he is Jerrah at this point - the circus has got to get out of town, and whomever cracks the whip to do it, I'm all for. Looks like he's in line. Salute.

Yes, if Gordon catches that pass they win.

But you'd get that same result today with a competently coached team.

They tried when injured Richardson was in there, but abandoned it by the time they brought in a healthy back. Hardesty only had 7 carries.

It always amazes me that just as he's on the last year of his contract, Marvin Lewis somehow squeezes out a playoff apperance, just enough to re-up the deal and get another few years again.
