First game under the new regime is a winnable one.

Key players out are Massaquoi, D. Patterson, Fujita, A. Smith, J. Pinkston, and if we're lucky, G. Little.

Might go real easy on TRich and his ribs, but the way Hardesty looked last week, I think we'll be alright in that department.

Last spread I saw was Browns +1. Me and a guy from work flip a coin each week to see who gets what team. I'm 0-5-1 this year, and have the Browns today. Let's see if they'll finally win me some money.

GO BROWNS

No Hope so far. Looks like Arians is still running the Steelers offense against us.

Last year much was made of the high ranking our defense had but we couldn't score so teams didn't have to rack up points. This year we can score and our defensive rankings have fallen to second worst in the league.

anndd we just gave up a 7:30 minute 80 yard drive where the defense accomplished nothing.

I think I knew Luck was going to take that in himself before Luck did. As soon as the coverage opened up, it was RIGHT THERE.

Weeden had too much time to make a dumb decision there and almost threw a pick in the endzone.

Should be seeing Hardesty/Obgyn splitting the ball carrying duties today. Sit Trich he's still hurt and very tentative with the ball.

Not-Son Ticky tack refs throw that flag on Cribbs. Now we gotta sweat out this replay on the Little TD......

Of course we have a bad hold. Why wouldn't we?

The stink of the Lerner era still lingers. Might take a few more weeks to air out.

The only difference I see between the real and replacement refs is that the real refs are simply quicker making their f-ed up calls. They aren't any better, they just don't delay the game as much.

Two guys gotta be gone, the sooner the better:
1) Owen Maricic: stone hands, and did you see that non-block on the TRich run for -3 at the 1? The guy hasn't done jack all year.
2) Reggie Hodges: stunningly, consistently terrible punting this season, and now he drops a perfect XP snap.

That was some of the most uninspiring play calling ive ever seen from Shurmur, and that's actually saying something.

Defense looks absolutely awful today.

As awful as it looks, they've kept the team in it and only allowed 14 points from 2 long drives. Need to work on getting off the field better.

Shurmur just doesn't know what the hell to do. Either just run out the clock (the Tressell way) or go for it (the Urban way). Trying to go for it by halves is just asinine, and winds up with you getting to the 40 and then pussing out.

I thought it worth noting that Bruce Arians tried to out-Shurmur Shurmur at the end of the half with his TO at the end of the first half. Not only did he ensure ham hands Hodges not touching the ball with 25 seconds left but he also ensured only the Browns could score with a hail maty throw made easier by the fact he had 12 guys on defense AFTER the timeout.

Dumbass.

Ben Roethlisberger is the only reason Arians still has a job. Ironically he also is the reason Arians no longer works in Pittsburgh. If the guy could do his job properly, the Steelers never would have let him go -- something Rapistburger fails to realize.

So many penalties in this game, and the Luck knob slobbering.

I'm not seeing much from this team. I'd hoped they would take a step forward today.

I know we don't have guards that can pull and our fullback sucks, but the blocking down field by receivers is nonexistent too. It's like when the play is a screen pass, that receiver is on an island alone.
