A perfectly executed offensive play by the Browns? Perfect throw, in stride, and he didn't drop it?

Since baseball is my real vice (along with TheOSU football games ~~ we moved the year the Browns came back and I had enough trouble figuring out how to drive around here and had no time to learn a new roster long-distance) we see/hear the Browns only when they are on local TV like they are today. Got a Question for you guy: Who the hell is this team in orange and brown? Playing nothing like what I've heard/read so far this season.

TR is looking like a good pick. Channeling Jim Brown or Kevin Mack? :-)

Hikohadon wrote:Officially emotionally involved with this game. Which sucks, since that means there will be some terrible letdown.

I was officially excited when we scored first. IMO everything else is gravy.

You think so? Seems like NY has been able to go down the field at will everytime they've had the ball minus the fumble drive.

Time for a solid KR from Cribbs and a TD to go back up at the half.

BTW - 3rd and 1 and Richardson is on the sidelines????

So much for relying on Cribbs.

Gotta hand it on SHUR there. Why take out TRIch (who is a force) on 3rd and 1 to throw the ball? Then, he didn't have the Defense ready to stop the MO. He's gotta be able to put an emotional charge there, even after his mistakes.

It's like watching negligent homicide every Sunday.

It wasn't just that he called a throw on 3rd and 1. He called a rollout/fallaway. As bad as that throw was, that play design was fucking ridiculous.

Usually they wait to the end of the game to melt down. This is good, though. Saves me from missing the 2nd half of the other games.

And the only good I can think of for this game is that Weeden is my bye week starter and should have a decent day points-wise. Predicted to have 11 points, has that at halftime, should be throwing a lot in the 2nd as the D wilts and Shur abandons the run game.

That penalty and Phil Taylor jumping off last year in obvious situation are the most Browns-ish penalties of the expansion era. Right there with Dwayne Rudd (which, as I think of it, wins easily).

I know TR is coming off surgery, but needs to get 35 rushes in this game. Jump out to a 14 point lead, run the damn ball.

Absolutely agree, this play call and awful execution changed the outcome of the game. Browns were demoralized and the Giants energized following this play.. game over at that point.
