Jeez, I was thinking about how sad I am for this to end. I can't imagine how Terry Pluto feels. How is he going to write about the Indians now?

Does anyone know if maybe one of the Dolans has contacted the DiaBride's hubby about replacing Shapiro or Antonetti? Wouldn't that be sweet?

Every Sunday morning for the past 5-6 six years, my first act upon rolling out of bed is to fire up the computer or iPhone and read the latest column. The only good thing out of this is that my kids won't have to lie in bed for another 20 minutes crying to get up.

Great writer. For the insight, analysis, and sense of calm and reason through some rough times, I put him right up there with Hal.

Perhaps there can be a "guest column" in the future...? You're offseason stuff is/was always perspicacious as hell.
