He's gone after this season.

There were a helluva lot of good games on. 3 went to OT, 2 others came down to Hail Mary's.
I watched a few brief moments of the game, but it kept giving me fits of irrational...
I don't need to waste emotion on this team, it's beyond not worth it. I'll maybe watch the game before I write the article. Or just glean what happened from the play-by-play on NFL.com. That's probably good enough.
Saints, Raiders, Browns, only Defeated teams left. We can do this!

Triple-S wrote:Dumb Scenario
Say Weeden has games like he's been having the past 2 weeks for the remainder of the season, but is unable to net us more than 3 more wins. But he makes the team look competitive every outting. Only really against the Steelers and Ravens he looks bad, and lets say both of those teams are on their way to the playoffs.
Now, you can attribute that to whatever. Shurmer going conservative, dropped passes that would have gone for TD's, but Weeden hasn't looked terrible outside of the aforementioned Steeler and Ravens games, and that diaster in week 1.
Shurmer's gone, you have a new coach.
The Browns have the first overall pick in the draft, or one in the top 3. What do you do?

Otherwise you take the best pass rusher/corner/defensive playmaker.
