Zips vs Vols

Unread postby T_N_T » Sat Sep 22, 2012 10:46 pm

Anybody watching this? Pretty funny that a "Big bad SEC team" can't handle this small MAC team. Gonna be hilarious listening to the locals spin this one here on monday if the Zips pull it out.

Don't know if this will work for anyone else but me, but here is the link to the stream of the game

Its not just the SEC, there is a lot of bad football being played out there right now by "good" teams.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Akron beat the spread by 21 points against FIU, and by 14 against Tennessee. That shows steady improvement under Bowden.

What's killing them right now is lack of depth on D. And TB's late start at recruiting didn't help. Both games they led late but ran out of gas.

Four conference wins and a third place finish in the East is not out of the question.
What do you mean Akron isn't in the same market as Cleveland? We're close enough to be fucked by it's sports curse.

This was clear from the first game, where their O looked vastly improved but the D couldn't get a stop. I thought they might make it interesting at TEN, the O is good enough to score enough to not get blown to hell.

Wish more of the games were on TV, I don't get ESPN3.
My Haslam hate is placed exactly where it should be.

You probably can. It's all via internet/computer. Not an actual television channel. If you're interested enough go to ESPN.com ( I know, yuck) and click on ESPN3, go to "Watch" and follow the instructions there.

AK opened as 6.5 point dogs to Miami, it's dropped to 3 now.

FWIW.
