Browns vs. Bengals Thread

Unread postby Hikohadon » Sun Sep 16, 2012 12:25 pm

Don't know about you, but I'm going to DVR the game and watch some other games that I'm interested in but not emotionally involved with, watching the Browns later after I know what happens so as to prevent frustration.

It's early in the season to start this, but it's a beautiful day and I don't feel like darkening it.
It's only progress if you eventually get somewhere.

I think a key will be pressure on Dalton. Im hoping Browns O picks it up. Need a little early success.

I will be watching the game while drinking some Southern Tier PumKing. No matter what happens, I'll be uplifted by good brew.

Besides, I look at it this way: If Pat Shurmur continues to be Pat Shurmur, it just puts us one step closer to getting a new head coach.

I don't think I've ever bailed on a HC this fast. I gave Mangini a year. I was done with Shurmur after Week One last year. When you get caught napping the way he did, it speaks volumes.

wasnt that Jauron caught napping though?

I havent given up on Shurmur yet, but all the yellow flags are out. He needs to show something to us that he has promise. Dont see anything yet.

Bengals 7
Phil Dawsons 3

Joe Thomas is going to have to get his act together if Weeden is going to have time to overthrow his downfield receivers.

I feel that the penalty for throwing a 3 yard pass on 3rd down and 6 should be... waterboarding... and nothing less.

Is it a new punt return scheme to have the first guy in coverage just blatantly sprint past the returner? ... even before he catches it? Does he get bonus points for being quickest to the ball... but not for actually touching the returner?

I should be surprised/upset by the fumble.

Yet I'm not surprised and only mildly irritated. Probably because I wasn't surprised.

EDIT: I've also moved on to Woodchuck's Fall Cider. Excellent choice!!
