Notable depth chart items:

Fragel won the starting role at RT over Freshman Taylor Decker
Freshman Brionte Dunn beat our Soph Rod Smith (who I expect to transfer if he can't catch Dunn this year) out for back-up RB.
ALL back-up LBs are Freshman or RS Freshman, with RS Fresh Crowell and Fresh Perkins backing up at one OLB, Fresh Cam Williams (BOSTON BABY!) backing up at MLB and Fresh Josh Perry backing up at the other LB.
There is a total of 14 Freshman or Redshirt Freshman listed on the two deep.

Side Note: I wouldn't be shocked to see guys like Decker and Smith get time, as both had some very strong moments at camp.

Have to love the Meyer plan. Having upper classmen/experienced underclassmen starting with all that young talent behind them is ideal. Only one freshman starter and that's TE replacing Stoneburner?

This team is really young and I am very excited about the talent. It is one thing to be young because you only have young players. It is another thing to have young players that are so good that they demand play time. We have a little of the former but a lot of the latter.

2013/14 should be excellent years.

Man, even some Bostonians were saying that Cam Williams was no Reeves, but per everything I read from camp the kid is a ridiculously intelligent LB and pretty damn athletic too.

Sucks because I like the kid, but not a bad thing if he comes back healthy. Will be good to have some separation between him and Dunn.

A little surprised Reeves hasn't cracked the two-deep yet over Archie's kid. Also interesting that Jamal Marcus is one of the freshman LB's left off the two-deep after Myer singled him out in one of his early pressers. With the "can't tell up from down" quote, he's probably better off on special teams right now anyway, but I'm excited to see this kid fly around.

Right now it looks like Dodson, Ball and O'Conner are for sure redshirts. I've read literally nothing about Efflain, another very viable candidate. I'd be willing to bet Reeves and Marcus, due to freak factor find their way into special teams. I wish OSU had released the ST charts.

Southward probably a safe bet too. Myer mentioned having three (or 4?) freshman starters on special teams. Marcus has to be one of them. Like you, I'd love to see that chart.

Umm... the frantic pace of play that Meyer wishes to play with must be something they'll have to work into. Because it ain't there today.

This is athletes beating lesser athletes at a relaxed pace of play.

Miller got bigger and stronger y'all. He's not the Hulk in his arms and shoulders but he's noticeably bigger and stronger.

The result is meaningless, the message and approach is what's important.

Where I disagree is when BM's balls are right, they are tighter and more explosive compared to TP's. Was TP's decision in throwing better (more often, in his 3rd year) yeah. But the best balls of each respective QB goes to BM IMO, and IMO it isn't all that close. But does BM have that quirky "WTF was that LeBron James" air ball in him still, yep.
