Underwood notes the small crowd tonight. 8/27

Unread postby 1Perry » Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:06 pm

I've seen some small crowds here...usually make-up games played during the week in the afternoon BUT, this might be the smallest one yet.

3-0 A's in the third. Faunandez leaves with an injury.

Possible no hitter? 18 more outs to get a base hit

"The Indians got no runs on two hits tonight. Two hits? WE ONLY GOT TWO GOD DAMN HITS TONIGHT???"

So Lingerie Football is hiring more athletic women to "legitimize" the sport?

Translated: One team hired masculine women to win, everyone else followed suit, and they can't market it as sexy babes frolicking around.

The morale around here is like when Captain Blythe tells Fletcher Christian that they are goin' back to England "round the Horn".

And Christian looks at him and says..."Fuck that...I'm taking the ship and goin' back to my hottie."

I had to work late last night but the 10 minutes of the game I did catch on the radio were hysterical. It was the eighth inning and Hammy and Rosie were taking shots at the USC Football program, noting "This is what the season has become."

At least they found a way to entertain themselves through all of this.

Might be the same thing, fans not buying in. I dont think school as started yet for them unlike in other places.
