We are clearly assessing talent for next year, so why is Kotchman still playing everyday? Nobody will take him? Eat the salary, can't be that much left.
Give Canzler a shot or someone else that we will still have control over next year.

Don't cut him. He might be a valuable asset to Lake County in the playoffs.

..
What do you mean Akron isn't in the same market as Cleveland? We're close enough to be fucked by it's sports curse.

They must really feel that the other options for 1st base are not any better.

Geesh, why not do a ticket promo: "Come to tonight's game and you can play 1B." Maybe we will find someone who can hit higher than their weight.

Casey Kotchman is out-hitting his weight.

Why would Kotchman sign up for another year of this misery?
Don't go away mad, just go away.

Because he's with the one group apparently unaware he blows?

Maybe because every other team will see him for what he is...a good defensive player who can't hit. In other words, a dime a dozen.
And don't forget...Kotchman is one of the reasons there is misery on the team.

He's still the 5th or 6th best hitter on the team. Clearly not a boner-inspiring statement, but a true one.
So he has to play.
