Tomlin heading for TJ Surgery???

Unread postby dazindiansfanuk » Sun Aug 12, 2012 4:59 pm

Acta has confirmed that he will meet with Dr Lewis Yocum whilst the team is on the west coast and has been battling elbow soreness most of the year.

Elbow soreness + metting Dr Yocum = TJ Surgery most of the time!

Maybe they can graft a better arm onto him.

Funny that they later found out Yocum is unavailable. So, sounds like he will stay in Cleveland. Haven't heard about him going to the DL, but that sounds like a no brainer.

Yep, if it's reached a point where he's going for a check-up, then he's going to the DL.

Probably hit the DL tomorrow and the Tribe call up a position player to get them back to a 4-man bench and then call Hernandez up to replace either Kluber or Seddon in rotation on Weds.

Of position player options, only Goedert not in AAA lineup tonight..... on his way to the West Coast?

I would like to see him. Even if he doesn't amount to squat--which is likely--they need to at least give him his due in the majors. He's earned it with his steady play the last few years. Who knows, he may even wind up as the next Casey Blake. (And Kate Upton might end up as the next Mrs. Adverb...neither looks like it'll happen, but you just never know.)

Good luck getting her away from Justin Verlander. He'll just throw a fastball at your head if you even try.
