I just tried watching "Immortals" on Netflix and . . . awful . .just . . . awful. I barely made it through the first hour.

So I turned the game back on.

The good news is this game still seems better than Immortals.

Yes, I could see that happening, especially if they think Kluber isn't ready and they don't want to destroy his confidence.

Santana in left field. Wow. Never saw that coming. If they put Jason Donald in left it would be different - they've been working with him in the outfield and trying to develop him as a super utility guy. But Santana?

I wonder if they're telegraphing their plans for next year. Lou Marson has handled the bat pretty well for a catcher and his defense is very good while Santana has struggled at the plate most of the season. Maybe they're thinking if Santana plays left field he can concentrate on hitting and his offensive numbers would improve while filling that black hole in left.

Otherwise, why put him out there? The Indians were down 12-1, why not just take him out of the game?

Because Acta wanted to take Choo out of the game and we had no other OFers with him wanting to give Brantley a full day off.

You put Donald in LF and who plays 2B? Lillibridge (SS) and Hannahan (3B) were already in the game and Kipnis isn't available.

Look, I'm not saying it wasn't odd to see Carlos in LF but, to suggest it's a pre-cursor to next season is madness.

Also, how has Marson (.661OPS) handled the bat "pretty well" and Santana (.776OPS) "struggled most of the season"?!
