Okay gang…here’s a little game we can play tonight: Home Run Derby. Pretty straight-forward. Pick one player from either team that you think will hit a home run in tonight’s Indians-Red Sox game, and post it in this thread. You get one pick. So just pop in here and post a name. No commentary required, although smarmy remarks about the Tribe’s hitting prowess will be accepted. If your guy homers, you get 100 points. Each additional homer nets you another 100 points. And like the old TV show “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” points mean nothing. Winner need not be present. Your mileage may vary. No purchase necessary. It’s just a little exercise to try to make this god-forsaken baseball season end. Entries close at 6:05 p.m., which is tonight’s start time. Plenty of good seats still available.
Tonight’s starters: Franklin Morales (L) for them, Zach McAllister (R) for us.
