Lopez next on the DFA list, Herrmann recalled

Unread postby dazindiansfanuk » Tue Aug 07, 2012 3:15 pm

I imagine Herrmann's just around for a couple of days to give the bullpen some more depth after they were abused the last two nights.

Maybe we get a chance to see Jared Goedert once (if ever) the pen situation settles down.

Jeez. This is the guy who was batting cleanup a week ago.

I'd cry if it wasn't so funny. What a fucking train wreck this team has become.

Don't hold your breath. Don't we own Krotchman for a couple more years after this one?

Just this season.

Which puts him on track to not blow next year.

Well shit, that's a horse of a different color.

With the money we are saving by dropping Hafner, Damon, Lopez, and Krotchman off the books we can go out and sign Melky Cabrera, Josh Hamilton, Zach Greinke, and have a few mil left over for Sizemore. Because you never know.

Things are looking up.

Just crazy, and no, I am not crying for Lopez, but the guy is DFA'd, and no one wants him. He is batting cleanup a week later...CLEANUP. Batting anywhere from 4th-6th, including yesterday, and today DFA'd.

Honest question..who is in charge? Is there, in fact, any plan? This sort of stuff reminds me of the witless surgeon who has no idea what he is going to do when the operation starts, then says "I'll figure it out during the surgery."

Right now, Shelly Duncan is very thankful for those photos in his possession of Antonetti and his cat in a "private moment."

Just think of all the shitty players getting chances on this team before Matt LaPorta.

I'm thinking Jose Lopez wasn't the real problem.
