I know these rankings are stupid and often crap, but michigan at 8 is a bit of a head scratcher.
I agree with Scott Van Pelt on this all the way. scum is staring 3 losses in the face. Most likely a sure fire loss to Bama, then legit chances at losing to ND, MSU and OSU (not to mention NEB) none of which would be upsets, and they play AF who is always a possible PITA.
DR is dynamic but not consistent enough to overcome that schedule IMO, hard to see scum finishing in top 15.

Makes you wonder if these guys actually watch college football or just look at the last season's final records.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Not to mention their D was an issue last season and they lost more players on that side of the ball.
I understand they've recruited well lately, but that has not yet translated to on field credibility.
