Not so sure they shit the bed, more like having a guy out there that can't get guys out.

Zach McCallister is pretty much your run of the mille average prospect young pitcher.

And the difference between his "stuff" and Tomlin's is alarming.

Tomlins been around the league a few times, guys have all the video now - for the same reasons soft throwing lefties don't work in this league anymore, guys with pedestrian stuff like Tomlin are going to get raked. He's a 5-5 and a half guy. He just is.

And yeah, you gotts acore some runs, but if it was pretty clear to us that game was over early, I'm sure it was to them as well. You aren't coming back from 5-6 down often, let alone when you have J-Lo and Shelly D in the line-up.

If last season repeats itself, he will definitely be the weakest link down the stretch. For some odd reason I think he's going to improve and have more of his first quarter of the seasons success.

Last game for instance, his SS totally blew it for him (twice) in one inning. If it weren't for that, he may have gotten the W.

Don't care if it's Lowe or Tomlin just as long as it improves their chances. 3 days til the deadline, and while the relief pitching has been solid, and the bats might be coming around, besides left field, our SP is hurting the most. If they're not going to make a trade, bringing Camonanandez up, and sendin somebody down will at least shake things up and give them a shot at this thing.

Ding, ding, ding. The reason that this isn't a playoff team, besides the odds that they won't score more than three runs on any given night, is that we don't have ONE starter, when it's their turn, that you can say, we've got a pretty good chance at winning tonight. Not Masterson and not Ubaldo, you never know what you're gonna get. The only guy that's been somewhat consistent is Zach and he's basically a rookie. They've been about as consistent as a .500 club. And Roberto Hernandez will more than likely just be part of the problem.
