Tribe host O's - 07/21 - Our "Ace" on the hill

Lineups

RF Markakis
SS Hardy
DH Thome
CF Jones
C Wieters
3B Betemit
LF Davis
1B Reynolds
2B Flaherty

RHP Tillman

RF Choo
SS Cabrera
2B Kipnis
CF Brantley
C Santana
DH Hafner
LF Damon
1B Kotchman
3B Hannahan

RHP McAllister

Yep, McAllister might be our most consistent starter at this point!!! That is shocking!

On the other hand, Tillman is making his 3rd start this year - in the first one he spun 8.1 innings without allowing an ER (2 unearned) and in his last start he only managed 0.2IP giving up 7 runs, although only 1 earned!

30 pitches total in 3 innings? Who IS this guy? Zack-man sure is eating up the batters. (booooo)

Wonder if he's able to settle himself down if he runs into trouble. And he'll probably run into trouble because he's got some slippery fingers fielding behind him at times.

It's so fun watching a guy throwing a Curve for his out pitch. And that FB is moving too. And he's got ace command.

Austin Kearns!?! You gotta be kidding me...bonus is that it was the Yanks.

Z-Mac dealing.

Is it me, or is he throwing harder this year?

Consistently 93-95mph and with the above average breaking ball..... that's gonna get you some outs!

Hafner looks as lost as I have ever seen. :gah:

Does he even get a guaranteed major-league contract with a team next year?

Gotta get some runs here...... can't send Z-Mac to the loss after just 1 bad pitch.

Next year is a club option, $13M, with a $2.75M buy-out. FO will probably buy him out, then resign him as a free agent for $10M. Image After all, they'll save money that way.

Johnny 'Effin Damon! gets a hit to bring the tying run to the plate. In other news, my wife went to the Scrappers game with her friends. I know, exciting stuff.
