Well, it's pretty clear Urban meant it when he said he wasn't gonna have a bunch of criminals on this roster like he did UF.

“The charges filed against Storm Klein violate the core values of the Ohio State Football Program,” Meyer said. “As a result, Storm has been removed from the team. It has been made very clear that this type of charge will result in dismissal. If there are any changes in the charges, we will re-evaluate his status.”

Public defender? That's the best he could do? Was Christopher Cicero busy?

Well that makes Derjuan Gambrell and Storm Klein, both kicked off the team for domestic violence. Good. I just hope Urban has the stones to throw a guy like Braxton or Shazier off the team for similar transgressions, should they arise.

There is a BIG difference between peeing in the bushes and beating up your old lady, so anyone planning on trying to point out the disparity between Stoneburner/Mewhort and Klein, just fucking save it.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Columbus paper said that Klein's ex showed up uninvited at his residence wanting to discuss their relationship or whatever. She would not leave and he supposedly picked her up and carried her outside and locked the door behind her. Visible marks and scratches on her however.

Yes, that is what Storm's attorney is reporting.

Let's not falsely act like that came from an independent party.

Especially when they are marginal back up players / busts and the schollie can come free...

I'm talking about Dominick Clarke from last year, who was good.

Gambrell had potential as well.

It's easy to whack guys like Klein. He was mediocre at best and likely doesn't have a place in the program. Not on the field anyway.

Shit happens every day in the real world. New swinging dick takes over the department and suddenly what were overlooked tendencies or indiscretions are a ticket out of the department or company.

Much more rare and harder to do if the guy is a big time contributor.

Makes no difference to me because Klein was JAG, but that's kind of the point.
