MLBPA boss Michael Weiner said that the MLBPA may file a grievance against the Indians for putting Hagadone on the disqualification list.

Yep, we should have to pay Hagadone for breaking his own hand in a fit of rage. Personally, I think he should just be happy that his talent may outshine his stupidity at some point so we didn't release him.

I guess it's a "work related injury"... so the union might have something to argue.

So is the the end of his tenure with the Indians? I believe so

No way.

You don't throw away 6'5" 230lb lefties who throw 94-95mph because they have a moment (or 8) of stupidity.

If he was trade asset before then so be it, but there's too much value one way or other to let this be the reason you jettison the guy.

Agreed. And not getting paid for a few months should ensure that this never happens again.

Still wonder what his market value is. Not now, obviously, but before he sparred with a wall.

Out at least 2 months. His control is so bad that his hand missed the wall. Broke his arm, not his hand.
