Is anyone else concerned that Rodgers fastball(while it is 95-96) tends to always be in the middle of the plate?

More importantly it's straight. The league will catch on soon.

Yeah thats what Im afraid of. I think he has been more lucky than good so far. If he could learn to locate it like Betancourt could then I think we have something if not.........

So far he's at 12.54 K's per 9 innings. You don't do that throwing straight fastballs down the middle, even at 95-96.

There's nothing wrong with this guy's fastball.

What I don't get is how a pitcher with an arm like this could be so bad for Colorado. Rogers said that when he got here Manny said "You're my long man" and having a defined role allowed him to relax and pitch better.

Except he's not the long man. I think he's at 9.1 innings in 7 appearances. But whatever he's doing, it's working now.

Because there is something wrong with his fastball or more importantly the location of it

As you can see above, it is perfectly legitimate to run pitching numbers through "The Duncanator" as well.
