2013 Draft Thread

Might as well start getting ready for next June. Likely top 5 pick.

Seems like the majority of major prospects are going to be bigs. 3s don't start showing up until 8th overall. So since it's safe to assume that TT will have permanently established his place on the bench that should be the focus for the Cavs. Obviously they will be overly invested on almost every other position.

DeShaun Thomas is better than a second round pick.

DT is a tweener that needs to prove that his tourney run wasn't a fluke.

Once he does that he will be better than a 2nd round pick.

But I agree DT needs to step up, be consistent, and a leader.

Ahhh damn it......it will probably be a three man draft and we'll have the 4th......

......maybe time to start identifying non-starters at the college level and plan not to interview them or
invite them in for a work-out.....


the landscape would appear ripe to reach for a "3" since we are locked in with TT and we probably won't trade Andy.

Let's start the "should we tank" thread again.

When the Cavs pick at #4 next year, the absolutely best players available will clearly be a shooting guard and a 4-man... who we will not draft because of our investment into DWaite and TT. Instead, we will reach for a pick of a 3 man who either had a great workout or who didn't work out at all.
