Prosecutor wrote:So let's say Charlotte holds out for the #24 pick. The Cavs choices are:
1. Trade the #24 to move up for Beal.
2. Stand pat and take either Barnes or MKG at #4, assuming Charlotte takes Robinson.
Anybody feel strongly about one or the other?
And is anyone concerned about the Cavs ability to score in a half court offense with a front line of AV, TT, and MKG along with a rookie SG they took at #24?

Terrence Ross in Cleveland for last minute workout tomorrow. He's not in mix at 4. He's not on board at 24. Interesting. He is a good fit.

Wouldn't mind them taking MKG and then trading up for Ross. It'd be a great draft if they could do that or go Beal/Quincy Miller.e0y2e3 wrote:http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Situational-Statistics-the-2012-Wing-Crop-4001
No big deal for Barnes. For scoring efficiency, he's only ranked behind the guy that everyone says can't do anything offensively. If they end up taking Barnes over either MKG or Beal, someone go back in time and just fucking kill me right now.

Maybe they are not trading up for Beal and considering trading back for Ross? Where should he be going? One of Portland's spots?

If they trade back at all then they should be drawn and quartered. They appear to be lucking out and have a good chance at 1 of 3 guys in this draft who have the possibility of being impact players in the league at positions where they have nothing.
This is not MLB or the NFL. You do not win by accumulating midrange talent.

Another good point: Jonas Valanciunas would have been the 2nd pick in this draft.

At least Melo has definitive defensive stopper written all over him, Tristan has feh defender and most-missed-dunks on lockdown.

Either:
a.) They convinced Portland to trade up for Drummond, looking for MKG (yay) or Barnes (uhh) at 6 and they can pair him up with Ross at 11
or
b.) They're looking at Ross at 4 (I quit)
