Clearly Terry has not pushed back from too many dinner tables in the last few years. I must say though, I do have a measure of respect for the guy for trying to fight Bobby Lowder and put an end to the system of paying Auburn football players. Like most of the others who crossed Lowder, he paid with his job.

He sort of forfeited some (but by no means all)of that respect when he signed a confidentiality agreement on the way out the door from Auburn (presumably to get that $1.8 million severance package), and then later violated it by giving the now famous interview to Paul Davis, the Alabama newspaperman who covered a lot of Lowder's antics.
