They didn't call him because it was to late.

If the prosecution called him to the stand, the defense would have asked for a continuance to prepare that might have taken months. They may have had to reseat the jury, and possibly start the trial over. The prosecution felt they had a strong case anyway.

The only way to avoid that would have been in the defense had called him (he was on their list as a possible witness) or if the defense had called Jerry to the stand. Then Matt could have been called by the prosecution as a rebuttal witness to Jerry's testimony, but not as a victim.

Prosecutors probably would have been barred from putting him on the stand unless Sandusky testified about his family. That would have opened the legal door for Matt to speak

What sure looks like a conspiracy took place at Penn State for at least the past 15 years, and it will repeat itself. It is occurring right now in different ways at institutions across the country. It is the conspiracy of power, and now it is up to us to decide whether once and for all to crush the runaway culture of the coach, the outsized elevation of mortal institutions, and to demand accountability and responsibility. If these institutions are so important, so worthy and vital, they do not need to be protected by their followers from themselves or from the truth. Penn State and Joe Paterno should have been protecting their community, not the other way around.

Is what it is. My children, twins, and their graduation party today. a friend was one of the investigators on this case. there will be from 11 - 30 more victims coming forward. Sandusky had little asterisks behind the names of the victims.
Spanier, Baldwin, Curley, Schultz ,and Joe Paterno were all complicit in a cover up. Joe was mentioned in emails.
Sandusky was forced out and they all knew why. Bradley and Ganter perjured themselves on the stand. thank God they hired outside.
And my friend mentioned if he was not dead Paterno would be arrested. the BOT is right. Joyner is right, and Corbett is right.
It was as bad as the worst accusations. I know this fellow for fifteen years and trust him implicitly. I will answer questions from moderators in pms, but no one else.
