LF Presley
2B Walker
CF McCutchen
DH Jones
1B McGehee
3B Alvarez
RF Tabata
C Barajas
SS Barmes

RHP AJ Burnett

RF Choo
SS Cabrera
2B Kipnis
C Santana
CF Brantley
DH Damon
LF Duncan
1B Kotchman
3B Chisenhall

RHP Jimenez

Hadn't really been following the Pirates this year, so looked up Burnett so far and he's got a pretty respectable 3.61ERA. However, he allowed TWELVE earned runs in 1 start..... in his other 9 combined he has a 1.96ERA and only allowed a combined 13 earned runs.

It's nauseating to see "DH" next to Damon's name on the lineup card.

A microcosm of Ubaldo's season in the first.

Looked great for the first two hitters then a base hit when behind 2-0 followed by a four pitch walk and a 3-1 count to the #5 hitter.

Got out of it with a nasty looking curve though.

Fuck you Ubaldo!

We tie it up and then you fall behind and give up a hit followed by a hanging shitball for the 2-run HR.

I wonder what Chris Perez expects us to think when we watch this guy.

I wonder what Chris Perez expect us to think about Shelly Duncan.

How long is it going to take for them to ship Sipp out?

The guy is a walking, talking firebomb of suck.

I can't believe Sippy Cup actually got someone out. Not sure why Manny has such a man-crush on this dude.
Bottom 4th: Cleveland
- J. Kipnis grounded out to shortstop
- A. Cabrera doubled to deep left
- N. Swisher doubled to center, A. Cabrera scored
- J. Giambi doubled to deep right center, N. Swisher to third, N. Swisher out at home
- J. Giambi caught stealing, catcher to third

1 run, 3 hits, 0 errors

7 times this year Sipp has given up at least 1 run whilst pitching less than an inning.... that's 26% of the time.

He's allowed a run in 41% of his outings overall.

It's mid June and he's got a 6.95ERA

You can't keep trying to fix this guy in the major leagues indefinitely!

I knew he had been bad, but wow, that's a staggering number.

Best part about it is how he acted pissed off. Like he gave a shit. He's just happy to get a paycheck for being terrible at his job.

Sipp, Duncan, Damon, Pronk, Sizemore, it's ridiculous how many players are on this team getting paid that just really don't belong.

Tribe outscored by the Pirates 18-9 over the course of the series. I was there on Friday night; it was GREAT. You look at the results from Saturday and Sunday, and it's like how the fuck could a team be so hot/so cold on a day-to-day basis?
