Heading up to my first game of the season tonight. Hopefully I can bring home a winner. My cousin (from Pittsburgh) and I bet a beer on this series. Don't let me down Tribe.

True, but batters hit 34 points better on the road and he's giving up 2 more runs per 9 innings on the road as well. It's good to play at home.

Hannahan's back tonight..... Barnes sent back to AAA.

Personally would like to see Chiz at 3B, Hannahan at 1B and Lopez DHing for the time being. Keep Kotchman on the bench for a while.

Choo might be hitting better of late but, that's now 9Ks in his last 5 games (21ABs) - not good!

It still makes my blood boil seeing a serviceman in his uniform in public. It just says 'please suck my dick and tell me I'm a hero' When i wa sin the army you were told to never be in uniform outside of barracks because it's a security risk but American servicemen do it without restraint.
It's a job like any other. Some forget that.

Masty K's the side again.... this time around a single and a pair of BBs.

The 8Ks thru 4IP is nice, but the 71 pitches not so good.... at this rate he only has probably 2 more frames in him.

When your defensive substitution for Damon is Cunningham you KNOW you've got roster troubles...

Great start by Masterson, though the Pirates are worse against RHP than we are against LHP. Masterson did what he needed to do. Absolutely no run support for him again.

Fun stat of the night - Pestano now has more holds (16) than hits allowed (15).

Really worried about Perez tonight. He's pitched once in the last 10 days. He's going to have to gut his way through this one because I doubt he's going to have a feel for his stuff.

It's Marine Week in Cleveland. The Marines are putting on demonstrations throughout the city and yes, they've been in uniform. Many of the servicemen were coming to the ball park from their demonstrations.

Still bitter from the the 1770's are we? ;-) ;)

Saw a ton of Pirate fans in and around Tower City before game time. Haven't seen that many Van Slyke jersey's in a while. Washoping one of them would at least know who "Cobra" was. Most of them were walking around complaining, calling Panini's Primante Bros. Lite.
