Fun with stats department: Kyle Lohse is 7-9, 5.89 career against the Indians.

Current Indians v. Lohse: 10-for-31

Cunningham 1-for-2
Damon 6-for-16
Kotchman 2-for-11
Lopez 1-for-2

Feels like forever ago when this guy was our punching bag with the Twins.

That graphic cannot be right. Masterson is from Kingston, Jamaica??

I'm watching with the sound off

Beltran with a bomb. Good thing it was a solo shot.

Masterson allowed 11 HR in 216 IP last year. Already 7 in 77.1 this year.

This is pathetic. Lohse is a human piñata, made to look good in a shit division in a shit League.

Get a grip boys

Did Freese try to say he fouled it off his leg or something?? He never left the batters box.

Best thing about Masterson's start tonight is no walks allowed...so far.

Good, sharp slider from Masterson tonight.

Offense has to scratch out a couple runs.

Offense really scuffling against Lohse so far.... the way things are going it's looking like our first shutout of the year.

Pretty shocking. LHB came in hitting .297 off Lohse this year.

If Chiz reaches, you've gotta PH for Masterson.

Probably a moot point.

A great 7 innings from Masterson tonight, and that will be it for him with his spot due up in the top 8th. He never came close to issuing a walk which is the best part about tonight's outing. In total control.

Interleague play doing wonders for our pitching.

Terrific effort from Masterson. Push two across and at least put him in line for the win.

Sucks that we're using Shelley here because we need Lopez as the backup IF. Would much rather have him up.

Sucks more that those are our only options.

Hope Matheny comes to regret pulling Lohse. As a player, I'd hate to get pulled there. Pretty shitty of Matheny IMO. Lohse has earned the right tonight to try and get through the 8th.

Edit: Forgot Kipnis hits 3rd now.

Furthermore, what the fuck Acta? Really?

I like it, but that's just what Molina does; it's always a risk running on him but a risk we needed to take.

In a game where we need 3 hits in an inning to score a runner, it's a good play to try and get the run into scoring position.

Did we seriously go to Jeremy Accardo in a 1-0 game?

Not with a guy who can't run it isn't! Cabrera is slow this year.

Let's just keep it at 1 and hope we can rally off Motte.

It's like a white boy reincarnation of Asencio, going with this Accardo guy.

It's like Acta has conceded defeat.

Agree with daz. Molina, from his knees, threw Cabrera out by 5 feet.

You don't take the bat out of your best overall hitter's hands. Lefty-lefty matchup or not.

I've spent most of the last two hours chasing a two-year old around. I think I'll return to that activity . . . forget it, he's down for the night. I guess I'll start drinking.

Now here's the real question: Zaya Rum or Cardhu Scotch?

Feels like Santana leads the league in 9th inning pop ups. Down by 2, get on base. Shorten your swing.
