Not bad.

We'll get a good player.

It's a three player draft.

Pray someone gets convinced to take Drummond in the top three because he can jump high and you are fine, otherwise... Dan Gilbert just ate a big cock named KARMA

We're gonna get either;

Kid-Gilchrist
Beal
Robinson

All are very good players that will have instant impact.

Robinson is as meh as meh gets, same with Barnes and Drummond is a lazy sack of shit.

And unless someone reaches for Drummond they are ending up with one of those three, pretending like MKG is falling past two is hilarious and Beal *should* go three.

This draft is CLEARLY Davis/MKG/Beal with Drummond as a wild card because he can jump real high and is huge, but has been a lazy fuck since high school with zero basketball IQ.

Frankly, Barnes probably makes the most sense... that is just how MEH this draft is after the top three.

Like the Browns, the Cavs have other picks they can bundle to move up.

I doubt the other three would be interested, but I'd be all for it if they did.

I think they can package 4,24 and 33 to move up to 2/3. Probably 3 though.

Well, that's two more players than in last year's draft and there is always that chance that dumbass Jordan brings Barnes down the road. ;-) ;)

And yeah... someone find the last time a team moved from four to two for that 4th pick and some hogpiss at 23 or whatever.

I have no idea what Karma has to do with any of this though. Unless you're still beating the drum of the guy letting his dying kid sit up there and be someone for a while.

Why do you think that?

Because the Wizards probably have 2-3 guys they want. They can move down to 4 and still get one of those guys and pick up more ammo with later picks. The Wizards can get who they want (Robinson maybe) and get more guys later.

If anyone even entertains the thought of Drummond at 4 I will lose my mind. He is lazy and cares about one person. I would rather have Fab Melo at 24 than Drummond at 4.

This was our last chance for a while to be relevant. We'll be picking in the 8-15 range for the next five years.

Not at all if they dump Andy.

This team has infinity holes aside from PG, a back-up big and a back-up SF.

T-Rob's ceiling is a thirdish best player on a playoff team, Barnes ceiling is fourth or fifth.

Those are guys need to build a contender, but when you are married to Tristan Thompson you're essentially building the roster backward.

MKG and Beal at least have second best player upside.

Dude, I would soil myself if that happened and we were choosing between MKG and Beal at #4. No way that's happening. Heck, I remember early NFL mock drafts had us getting RGIII at pick #4. This mock is sadly somewhat similar. We can only hope.

I can't imagine after a year of watching him play that anyone in the Cavs org sees TT as anything BUT a future replacement for Andy. Athletic big who can rebound and will play solid defense, but needs scoring around them to offset the inadequacies.

I've seen two mocks that have MKG and Beal being available at #4, and while I don't believe either of them, i'd run through a wall i'd be so excited. Get Fab Melo or Quincy Miller at 24, maybe Doron Lamb if he's available......now you have some high upside scoring ability.

Unfortunately, you're still up shite creek with no talented bigs. You'd need to hope there is at least a Perkins/Kaman/Nene type that you hit on in next year's draft, because I agree that the mock above or Wojo's mock would have Cleveland in the 8-15 range next year.

Sam Amick has us passing on Beal to take Barnes.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/w ... &eref=sihp

• I'll have a Mock Draft coming out Thursday, but here's a possible preview/projection, courtesy of a front-office man whose team is in the top five. New Orleans takes Davis, followed by Charlotte taking Kansas forward Thomas Robinson, Washington taking Kentucky small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Cleveland taking North Carolina small forward Harrison Barnes and Sacramento taking Florida shooting guard Bradley Beal.

DX has the Cavs taking Beal.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/y-sports-d ... --nba.html

But let's take the worst case scenario and say it goes Davis/MKG/Beal and the Cavs are looking at Barnes at #4. The reports I've seen on Barnes say he can't create his own shot. If that's the case, can the Cavs afford to draft him and field a front court of Barnes, Andy, and TT, three starters who can't create their own shot?

Would Robinson be the better pick?

And who starts at the off-guard spot if they don't get Beal?

Not disagreeing but seems like that isn't consensus around NBA writers today. Maybe this morphs into a 3 player draft but right now 2-9 seem interchangeable from mock to mock although MKG is the only one I haven't seen past 4. That probably means this becomes a consensus 2 player draft. Besides that's easier on writers who don't like to think too hard.

At least Beal and MKG are showing up often for Cavs so that probably makes you relatively (for you) happy:

MKG is the only guy I'd be estatic about at 4 but I am pretty sure he'll move to consensus #2 over the next week. And FWIW I don't think the Cavs will let TT stand in their way if they feel they can get a standout PF. I'm terrified that they are going to do what they did with TT and go all physical upside while ignoring college production and actual basketball ability and get Drummond or Barnes.

Also I still think Sullinger should be in the mix at 4. He's as good a bet as anyone to be a NBA starter on a playoff team and I feel like he could pair well with Irving. He's going to be able to score in the NBA and like Beal (and Irving) he just seems to know how to play basketball. Big men who play small bother me but so do SGs that play inside all day long, lazy centers, and guys like Barnes who aren't entirely sure what the fuck he's supposed to do with that big orange sphere in his hand.

MKG is the only guy I'd really be estatic about at 4. I don't really know what you see in Beal that makes you elevate him over the rest of the top-10 pack. I just can't get any more excited over an undersized SG without a great outside shot but with a good BB IQ over guys with no IQ and tons of talent or big guys with IQ and question marks at the NBA level.

Also can't we just trade our #4 and our next two #1s for Davis? Maybe throw in our first second round pick? That's JUST like what Dan Synder did. Makes perfect sense.

I can't imagine after a year of watching him play that anyone in the Cavs org sees TT as anything BUT a future replacement for Andy. Athletic big who can rebound and will play solid defense, but needs scoring around them to offset the inadequacies.

Really? You can't imagine anything but a pure PF replacing a C who has 3" and 35 lbs on him? Varejao is one of the best defensive Bigs in the game. TT is.... TT.

I'm already starting to like going after the big man. Lazy, heh, just a deliberate approach to the low post.

If you are reading a mock draft with Barnes going ahead of Beal or MKG you are wasting your time. You could be doing something more productive, like watching paint dry.

Drummond "seems" interchangable because he showed up 22 pounds lighter and said some good things when he worked out this week, so now "HE HAS SEEN THE LIGHT!!!"

T-Rob is only even remotely possible in the top three because Charlotte has a decent defending all around wing in Henderson and a very strong defensive center in Biyombo, a T-Rob grab would be a pure "need scoring to put next to Biyombo" pick and would be reaching.

And Sullinger... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

He can create his own shot. He can handle the ball and shoot (or at least he could shoot so his shot should be easily fixable). Reminds me of James Harden even down to a perceived struggling their final/only year in college, not from any lack of skill but mostly from passivity.

Beal was the best shooter in his high school class, by miles.

The Wizards backcourt is set for the next decade. They are NOT taking Beal at 3.

They are looking for character and toughness in a big and will be sending their Thomas Robinson pick in before David Stern finishes saying MKG's name at 2 for the 'Cats... or they'll trade the pick to a team desperate for backcourt help in exchange for a young solid big man.

Set for the next decade? Jordan Crawford.... uhg.

They could very well take T-Rob if and only if they can dump Blatche/Rashard and the two billion dollars they owe the two of them.

Vesely had a REALLY rough go of it last year too.

Also, Trevor Booker actually looked pretty good last year during Blatche's Fat Cancer Suspension.

I would love if you were right, but I don't know how in love they are with Jordon Crawford. I know he put up good numbers for them this year, but I think they wouldn't hesitate to upgrade and trade him. I hope I'm wrong though.

With Booker, Vesely and Crawford they are going to be replacing some young talent they recently drafted.... I don't understand how they don't just go BPA in that situation.

Although a T-Rob/Nene/Booker front court rotation could be pretty damn tempting.

I just don't see how they value Nick Young II as more than a scorer off the bench.
