How about this?
We kill off the RIAA, and MPAA, and leave it to the rights of individuals to deal with their property.
IE, if Metallica is that pissed someone is posting videos of them on youtube, they, themselves have the right to take it down. Not the record company.
That way those that want to progress to the future and realize that CD's and DVD's are as dead VHS's at the moment.
Ask any artist in the field right now, and I'm sure they could give a shit about torrenting, as I can bet their main stream of revenue is via concerts and merch.
Besides with formats like Sirius Satelite Radio, Netflix, and Spotify it's proving that torrenting is quite pointless at the moment.
And how about this? Instead of hearing these White Collar morons, bribe their way into another hearing within court, we redo the justice system to CRAP like this doesn't clog up the system.
There's a million things worse in this country over some 17 year old kid downloading some Skrillex song. How about focus on getting rid of the influence of idiot lobbyists within all forms of gov't?
