Great new for "Community" fans! The comedy is returning to NBC's Thursday night lineup.

The not-so-great news: It's going right back into 8 p.m. against CBS' "Big Bang Theory."

Community will return on Thursday, March 15. Then "30 Rock" shifts to 8:30 p.m., followed by "The Office" and "Up All Night." "Parks & Recreation" will come back on April 19 to finish its run after "Up All Night" concludes its 24 episodes.

Season Four confirmed, only a 13 episode order thus far. Honestly, that probably becomes a 22 episode order after the 55 new comedies NBC picked up fall on their faces in the fall and Community gets bumped up.

Parks and Rec also only got 13 eps as well as 30 Rock (which will not be extended, the 13 will be 30 Rocks final 13 episodes).... both of which can go away for all I care, as I quit 30 Rock ages ago and P&R not too long ago.

NBC can expect even lower viewership next year with all of these shit new shows, so kudos to them.

Too bad cuz Parks & Rec has been awesome this year. Just a comedic tour de force from Burt Macklin. Entire season is worth it just to see him act out the climatic fight scene from Roadhouse.

The Leslie and Ben crap and the Council race ruined it for me. Last season was great because of the variety and utilization of the entire cast, this season was a boring shit sandwhich where they pushed all of the awesome aside for two shitty Leslie plots.

I agree to an extent, although I have fair confidence that they'll be able to return to form after the stupid election thing is out of the way.

And they were still able to make enough jokes about it to compensate i.e. Ben/Leslie getting married and living in the giant campaign bus after the election. The worse relationship was Ann/Tom but they quickly turned that into a full-on joke where they pretty much break-up every episode.

Last night's episode also had a great Andy moment where he's listing the places where he wants to live and the list includes Winterfell, New Caprica, and all the locations listed in the Beach Boys song Kokomo.

Community closing out the season with a montage Wire-style. It was awesome, but kind of a shame since it'll be hard to top once they get to the actual finale, especially since they can't use the theme song then.

NBC was always pissed it turned into what it is and wasn't just some joke filled college hijinks show, now they get what they want for 13 episodes before death.

Yep, I wish they had just cancelled it. Pissed off enough at Sony I am close to just cancelling Cable, stealing HBO Go, running Netflix and just buy a bunch of online sports packs to stream.

I would've loved to have Ganz in charge, but she's way too green and no way the studio or network would've trusted her to do the job. Best case scenario, the show goes back to the more grounded storylines a la early Season 1, but without the ambition of the past two seasons, Community ain't Community. I'll keep watching out of loyalty to the characters, but I'm not looking forward to a zombified Community.

Still not all the way caught up, but Hiko was dead on about the video game episode. Pretty much everything I love about the show.

With Gus from Breaking Bad coming on-board I had high hopes for a Hamm run next year too....

3rd season out on DVD Aug 12. Still no blu-ray. That release date is pretty early though. Wonder if that means anything.
