With Buchholz on the bump for Boston I am less unnerved about Ubaldo starting tonight (Buchholz has been devastatingly poor so far this year). Jimenez needs to string a couple more gems, like his one against Texas, together before I have faith prior to a game in which he starts.

I expect a lot of scoring and for the Tribe (with their ferocity on the road) to outlast the BoSox.

Interesting comment by a Red Sux fan up here. They said they wished Acta had let Lowe pitch to one more batter so that he would be taken out during the inning. He figured the remaining fans in the stands would have given Lowe a standing ovation! Said what a gamer he was and how he always played hard. Nice to hear the enemy compliment one of your soldiers.

The difference between Kip and Damon in the box is astounding. Damon is practically dancing around, both feet are moving. Kip is quiet as a church mouse.

He is finished. Not even close to making tough outs. Hell, the most embarrassing at-bat he's had was a hit -- the duck snort over the pitcher's head last night.

He is killing this lineup at the top. Jack is swinging a hot bat and so is Kipnis & ACab. Damon is a HUGE hole in there. Time to cut bait and move on. At the very least get him the hell out of the top of the order.

Looks fine to me if you simply extrapolate out last Sunday's outing.

Because there's too much game left at that point, and the defense would be severely compromised. And Bobby V could have easily countered with Padilla to pitch to Duncan.
