I looked at the radar....seemed to be a pretty good break for awhile. think they'll have more trouble getting in the night game than the game today.

Amazing how good the Tribe's situational hitting has been in this game! After missing a HR earlier in this inning Santana settles in and goes for a ground ball single, not keep swinging for the fences. Brantley with two good ABs, driving in 3 of the runs so far. I could go on but we're one day ahead of Cleveland's weather - it's glorious today I have have gardening to do before the next 3 days of rain....

Hope they will still have runs left in them for game 2 tonight.

Chasing out Humbert after 2 1/3 IP... sets up this series well. Brantley's double was on a decent pitch, too, just golfed it out there.

May not have been pretty in places by Zach Mack has pitched a quality start (2ER) the throwing errors hurt him but all in all 6 hits in 6 innings with 5 ks and 1 walk is a decent day on the mound.

I didn't want him to use perez or Vinnie and I knew he couldn't and wouldn't. Asencio was the right call but after that leadoff walk in the 9th you had to go get someone else.
