My Playoffs thoughts so far:

1. I called a Heat sweep in Round 1, with only Game 3 being close. I stick with that prediction.
2. Yes I know the Thunder are up 2-0 with KD not playing all that great. I still don't think they have what it takes.
3. Sometimes when watching Thunder games I watch in slo-mo, so I can see Russell Westbrook.
4. I want Chris Paul to father my child.
5. I wanted to throw something through the TV when I saw Lupica say Thib should be fired for letting Rose play... and did throw something when Mariotti agreed. Douchebags.
6. If you caught Rondo's postgame comments, you understand why people close to the C's say he's an asshole.
7. Pacers-Magic. zzzzzzzzzzzz
8. Sticking with the Lakers as my pick out West, but the inevitable Bynum injury/meltdown is looong overdue.
9. Tyrone Corbin is sadly in way over his head.
10. After a lively argument whether CP3 could lead such a massive comeback (I said yes, friends said no), we watched til the end of the 3rd, turned off the tv and went to hang out on the roof. Luckily someone got a text with 2 minutes remaining and we ran back down to catch the rest.
11. LeBron is still an attention loving cunt. But the Heat championship is getting closer by the day.

I've changed over the years regarding Pierce. Cannot help but root for him now and appreciate him as a legit talent.

He might not be the best at any one phase of the game but he is among the best at using his abilities to their potential and in the some of the more critical spots.

He's been a no doubt HOFr for years now.

OKC is literally running every play through him on offense, Russ and Fish aren't even touching the ball in the half court unless he decides to pass to them. He's running the effin offense....

They did this year.

That was some of the problem.

I know it was just Barea and Chandler but those guys were crucial last year.

Dallas had no quickness for Westbrook or OKC to chase down and around and Chandler changed shots.

Oh well, Rabbi Harden was dialed in tonight. Like you said, sometimes the game gives you a glimpse of a guy growing into something else right before your eyes. Might have been exactly what you saw from Harden.

And you can't keep three max guys, can ya?

As I said 100x during the lockout, the team the hardening of the cap will impact the most is the Thunder, who will be punished for building through the draft. It's going to take some serious hometown discounts to keep Harden and Harden + Ibaka is impossible.

And yeah, I know this wasn't the same Mavs team (and Odom was supposed to be the key in the new look before he lost his damn mind). Still though, the rest of it is as good as gone. D-Will and Dirk show next year, with who knows who else around them.

I won't say Harden will leave after being completely stunned by Westbrook staying but it's going to be tough.

Dirk and the Jet served their purpose, got their Lifetime Achievement awards last year and had an incredible run.

Fun team to watch last season. This season was over when it started for them.
