Just getting the one run in that frame seems like a bit of a missed opportunity.

Lowe looking sharp and pounding the K-zone.

He's pitching angry. Wants his ring back.

Sanchez is a mess, walks the first 3 batters in the inning and Kipnis is hacking at pitch number 1.

Bring up Chiz and move Hannahand over to 1B. I'm tired of Crotchman.

That'll do Shelley..... nice approach.

A big two-out hit for Hannahan would be a welcome sight right about now.

I believe that Kotchman has now defined something lower than the Mendoza line. Why is he still here???? Take your Happy Days buddy Cunningham with you on the way out.

I think playing Kotchman is a way of warming up the fans for Matt Laporta. Hell as much as I hated Laporta last year, he is a huge improvement over this.

Where's the grandma that told Matt Lawton he sucked to his face (it was on fan appreciation day with the players acting as ticket-takers), I'll buy her a ticket on the 1b line for as long as it takes.

After an inning like that I take back all the "send Sipp down" comments on the other thread. Just maybe he's finding it just by knowing the fans are restless. If that works I suggest we all start piling on the irate comments about the K-C band (Krotchman and Cunningham).

We still have a bunch of guys not hitting yet but our OBP is decent with all the walks that we manage to get. At least we knock the starters out generally after 5.

Ugly, but I'll take it. Not gonna win many games where you leave 13 on base and squander two bases loaded, nobody out situations.

Not just top of the division, but the 2nd-best winning percentage[*] in the whole damn league! That means home-field advantage in the ALDS!

[*] - but at the same time, 8th out of 14 teams in total number of wins. Gotta love the early spring standings.
