Time to call your shot ladies ,but its all a practice in Academia because the card is in

and its gonna be .

Ryan Tannehill .

So Choke on the smoke of other flavors , because you just been told..

Anybody who thinks red face Mike is gonna by pass a QB trained in the WCO , by no less than his own former aid , who is a bigger faster more athletic version of his pet Monkey Colt with a real NFL arm has bypassed the pipe and gone straight to the needle . .

and don't be stoopid enough to come in here with the Heckert has last pick authority retort .

This decision is in and its way past his pay grade .

So anybody who doesn't like that news Fuck you in advance and choke on it .

The dopes finally get it right .

Ryan Tannehill ,Holmgren learns the Rope a Dope.

Nobody went to Gates workout back in the day. only the chargers.

How that happened, when Kent is just a hop and a skip away, and the Browns are so devoid of talent everywhere still amazes me.

Could have gotten Julian Edelman too. James Harrison and his rage issues as well.

Tanney will fall like Lady Quinn on draft day.
If we get Tanney, it will be in the same fashion that we got Lady... drafting a real football player at 4, and then trading up when Tanney drops like a lead balloon.

BTW, I like these three guys in this order:
1) TR
2) Blackmon
3) Claiborne

Somehow, I am beginning to wonder if they are taking Claiborne. I just saw where the Browns brass said something to the effect that you can't let need drive you to make a bad decision (Tanney) or let fan input (offense) drive your decision.

All 3 of these guys make us much better and are safe picks. Which is what no one is sure that Tanney will do.

+1. If Mike Sherman can convince the Phins to pass on him at #8 there's no telling how far he'd fall.

I'll say TR. I think that's how this goes down.

Although Mary Kay has had some good insight on this. IIRC, she had the Browns taking Blackmon, unless it was Claiborne or Richardson, as long as Kalil was already gone, with the possibility of a trade down, and an outside shot at Tannehill.

You should read her stuff if you're not. It's very insightful.

The buzz is everyone in the top 7 wants to trade down.
That hurts two ways:
1) I don't want to trade down below 7.
2) If everyone wants to trade down, that means we would have less leverage in the trade.

I love the idea pick of the pick of TR.

Just am not sold that Heckert will go that route yet.

Trade Down or Claiborne seems more this crews style.

I could honestly see Tannehill being successful with the phins.

That's a team right now that can at least buy some time and not rush him into the fold. They've got s "meh" QB in Matt Moore, and a past his prime David Garrard who can allow him to sit and for Sherman and Philbin to tutor him throughout the year to be ready.

You're never going to have trouble luring Free Agents there..because..it's f-ing Miami. So if they want to lure some guys next year in FA, They don't have the obstacles the Browns have to face atm.

The Browns need a guy who you can put under center, and can start right from the get-go. The only guy I can remotely see pulling that off in this years draft is Weeden.

Here's how I think it will look on Thursday, assuming there's no trades..and knowing New England? There will be.

I think Heckert will be sold on the fact that corners have a longer life span, and that Claiborne edges TR out at this point overall as a prospect.

Can't go wrong with either TR or Claiborne...

But could Heckgren have decided on TR before they let Hillis fly the coop?

And will Claiborne's Wonderlic be a factor? Even defensive backs gotta know which color hats to pop.

Richardson or Claiborne. Trade down if Kalil somehow drops.

Anything is possible .. I'd be surprised but not shocked if it was Tannehill.

I think they're gonna take Claiborne. WR at #22. BPA at #37.

Fans want Richardson. I want a trade down. Try and add another #1 next year, or try and get like 5 of the top 50 picks.

Blackmon is the only pick that would piss me off. I think you can get a very similar player at #22.

I think there is still chance to hit this out of the park.

Take Richardson at 4. Then call Jacksonville. They have been crying about trading out of 7. Offer them 22 for 7 swap, a 3rd and 5th this year, a 2nd (a 1 if you have to) and 4th next year.

Come back up to 7 and take Tannehill in front of Miami.

Take the best WR at 37...Jeffries,Randle,Wright whoever falls. Get your RT in the 4th.
BPA in the rest of the rounds.

IF you think Tanney is a top ten pick. I am hearing people saying he belongs at the end of the 1st, beginning of the 2nd round.

Stay put and draft Weeden at the appropriate time. They say he is more ready anyways. I know his age, but what has been the shelf life of any of our QBs since the resurrection of the franchise?

The Browns will not give up their 1 next year and I imagine that at the minimium the Jags ask for the 22 and 37 to start but more likely the 22, next years #1, and the 37 this year. The Borwns won't do that.

Doubtful that the Browns would trade up that far for Tannehill though. Still a good train of thought in the league that if the Dolphins skip on him he's dropping hard. Philly and KC are the only two legit destination. I don't think the Browns like him enough to bother getting in front of Miami.

If the Browns are trading up it's for the corner, wr, or RB they didn't get at 4. And if they are looking at 7 then I think it's more likely that they go Blackmon at 4 and then wait to see if Richardson is available at 7.

Blackmon, Richardon, and Weeden/Tannehill at 37 would be a legitimate possibility if they managed to hang on to 37 and still get the Jags 7. Hard to argue that the Browns would not have managed to address their offense. I believe it is safe to say the Browns would be happy with that draft.

BTW I put that scenario at about .000058%. But it's fun to imagine. Like winning the Lotto.

As mentioned elsewhere the pick is going to be Blackmon. Or Richardson if Blackmon is gone (including if the Browns swap with St. Louis) but I still believe it will be Blackmon. Blackmon was consensus 2nd pick before the skins trade and he and Richardson were consensus 1/2 skill players. Nothing has happened to change that. The Browns are in need of skill players so no reason to avoid either.

So Blackmon at 4, J. Martin at 22, and Weeden at 37.

If its Blackmon, Richardson, and Weeden, I'm doing cartwheels down Pearl Road.

Re: Cry all you want the Pick is gonna BE.............

Seattle GM already on record saying he won't get past pick 12.

But Schneider and Carroll attended Tannehill's pro day on March 29 that according to a Sport Illustrated report had Carroll "giggling like a school girl" watching the athletic quarterback throw.

"The guy had a great workout and we left," Schneider said. "I don't know why somebody would say that."

Despite Seattle's depth at the position, Schneider said the Seahawks would seriously consider selecting Tannehill at No. 12 if he were available.

"He's a really good player and he's got a great upside," Schneider said about Tannehill. "We would definitely consider him (at No. 12). Just because we've done these things, the guys know — it's no disrespect to Tarvaris, or Matt or Josh at all.

"The guys know at some point we wanted to get this thing rolling where we would be able to get a younger quarterback in, and kind of getting them going, whether it's in the first round or second round or however it comes."

But Schneider isn't expecting Tannehill to last that long.

"It's fun to talk about, but I mean he's not going to be there," Schneider said. "You know, I think he's going to get drafted pretty high."

I can certainly see Carroll giggling like a schoolgirl.

The Seahawks were the team that gave two 2's for Charlie Whitehurst, so I trust their QB judgement implicitly.

The Browns are in need of skill players so no reason to avoid either.

So Blackmon at 4, J. Martin at 22, and Weeden at 37.

I don't think Blackmon was ever the consensus #2 pick. Hell, he was the consensus #3 receiver last year. If the Browns wanted a receiver, they would have just taken Julio Jones last year, who is bigger/stronger/faster than Blackmon.

SD:

Our three biggest needs are QB RB and wideout in that order , with RT as the first alternate .

Unless Tannehills arm falls off between now and Thursday , the Browns wll look to fill their greatest need , something they supposedly cough cough , yeah right tried so hard to do with multiple number one picks , not so very long ago.

They don't value running backs any more than they value linebackers in the NFL hierarchy , but will most likely pick TR if Miami sneaks them, after foolishly letting a back who rushed for 1200 yards and caught 500 via the pass walk right out the door.

Nitpicking, but IIRC Blackmon was considered the #2 WR last year until he decided to return to school (on 1/12/11). He dropped out of the draft before the combine, which is where Jones' stock shot up. No way was Jones ahead of Blackmon immediately after the 2010 season ended. All the mocks I've found from that time period support that.

Blackmon would be a tremendous assett even though we don't have a QB worth spit , he'd be a key piece for the roster when we ever got one .

TR can cover a lot of ugly offensive play calls and poor passing execution as a legit threat three down back , but in a passing league the other team lights up the scoreboard so a back does you little good matching up vs quick strike teams who have you down two scores before the Browns get woke up in the first quarter.

On Weeded and seeded , pure fools gold , who looks good vs kds , but will fold like a cheap tent under NFL pressure , damn fine practice player and future backup like Holcomb who will break like china when the wind turns up, at 137 years old he's as likely to turn to dust or a fossil , before he ever makes one significant play in an NFL game that counts .

The kid Harrell who came from this same offense was more athletic produced as many yards and he was a seventh rounder , Weeden should just get a whistle and clipboard and go in as a players coach and start his future career early .

Tannehill represents a stock of Green fresh bananas , but suddenly the fan base who hasn't seen meaningful consistent winning smart football at QB since Kosar a generation ago , can't wait a month or two for the fruit to get ripe .

Sheesh but our fan base is re- tarded.

Here's how I think it will look on Thursday, assuming there's no trades..and knowing New England? There will be.

I think Heckert will be sold on the fact that corners have a longer life span, and that Claiborne edges TR out at this point overall as a prospect.

No disrespect, but no way Floyd makes it to the Steelers. I don't seem him making it past Zona.

I believe WR's are not judged solely on bigger/stronger/faster. Occasionally the ability to catch the ball is also taken into consideration. There is also some consideration on the ability of a WR to beat the press and the ability of a WR to run crisp and accurate routes.

If the Browns draft Tanney with their first pick, it will be the worst 4th pick in the draft since, since, since TT.

SD:

The only people who would cry JB are those adamamantly opposed to Tanneyhill .

I'm not opposed to Blackmon Richardson or Clay or a trade down , if these bumbling stumbling imbeciles would be so stoopid as to pass on the perfect WCO sign and build clone QB for whatever asinine reason they want to make up .

They're all dead to me after cocking off the RG3 pick anyway .

So these stooges can not ever get to me again , I'm lke Oberle , I expect nothing from them , so that I can be pleasantly surprised if they manage to disappoint my lowered expectations , and actually make some picks that make sense.

The kid can play in this offense , he's a prototype for the new aged QB , raw as an onion with warts , but geeze , if he ain't a beauty queen to the ugly ducks we got here .

When it comes to picking QB's Browns fans are the dumbest fucks in the game .

Who trades or bypasses Sanchez Rottenberger Rogers or Cam Newton when you ain't got better .

The same dopes were first in line , when I said make that change then in real time (except for rogers who I hadn't scouted and didn't pimp. )

What gives anyone of you sod busting goat roping ignoramuses the right to turn up your nose at this kid when all we have is Colt McCoy Seneca Wallace and Thadeus Lewis and prayer rugs .

Browns fans need to open the windows and quit getting high on their own farts

Look at the brightside , we get a 6'4" 225lb receiver with 4.6 speed who can play QB .

We get a twofer.
