The Drowned God just sounds dumb as fuck. And Theon fingered his sister on the back of a horse.

I told you, black pirate.

And I think they have to speed up the plot, it would take 10 seasons to match the books.

I want to see a White Walker fully, I bet they look cool as fuck.

Episode 3 tonight!

Actually, HBO cracked down on the overseas sites that were putting the next episode online so early. So no new eps early anymore.

Or you could have HBO-GO. And I don't think HBO has cracked down on anything, you can find just about anything they've ever done online.

Uh, yes they have:

The only reason the 2nd episode got online early was because it was on those foreign HBO Go sites. HBO has taken care of that and it won't happen again.

Ok, apparently I was very wrong. I figured GO was going to continue giving paying customers the advanced episode.

Eff HBO.

Between Boardwalk , and GOT its been a banner year for Incest on HBO.

Id imagine the first HBO Board meeting of the year went something like this:
CFO: "Gentlemen this year I want HBO to do for Incest what CBS did for the Crime Scene Investigating. Lets make 2012 the year incest became mainstream again"
"I don't think they're building chemical weapons in Berea. But they might be. I can't say for sure."

The Ptolemies were always married brother to sister (or the nearest living female/male relative depending on the sex of royal offspring).

In all fairness, this one was accidental incest...he didn't know he was fingering his sister at the time. Although she did know he was her brother, but with as hard as that chick has been beaten with the ugly stick, I think she was probably just relieved that some one wanted to stick something in her.

It's funny, I actually can't think of another case of incest in the books off the top of my head after that one. Coz and Hiko might prove me wrong, but there's nothing that sticks out. Pleanty more sex though.

Well they ruled Egypt for almost 300 years.

But most males of the line we described as being short, fat, and sweaty. Roman consuls, praetors, and legates would take joy in walking through the streets of Alexandria while the Pharaoh waddled behind trying to keep up.

Not that I can think of. But, that doesn't mean HBO won't magically create another one. With their completely fabricated Littlefinger's brothel scenes, you never know what's coming. :lmfao:

Agree. They just had to give Randy Ros some more air time. For some reason.

Jamie and Circe hook up one more time, I think, but that's the end of the incest that I can think of. Well, if you don't count Craster and his daughters/wives. Fortunately, we don't see any of that.

It's scarier to see the aftermath. Think Jaws (original)...that shark was so scary because you never really saw until the end when it munches Robert Shaw.

But yes...eventually we need to see one. Just wait until season 5 or 6.

I'm not waiting 3 years........

Dude left his incest baby for one, so maybe Snow is going to kill it with his Valyrian steel sword.

White Walkers playing poker, that should be a scene. Write it up.

Good lord........ I'd make the most badass TV shows if they let me.

So, we're sure that was a White Walker that he gave the baby to? I kind of thought it might be but I hadn't heard that it definitely was.

Yeah. Will admit that I didn't pick up on it right away because I thought the whole thing with Dany in the temple was just weird so I missed out on a lot of the hints that were dropped there, but once I went back and looked at the totality of the evidence it is virtually spelled out for you.

I notice how they changed Asha's name in the show. Probably a bit too close to Osha (the wildling captive/Bran's friend at Winterfell) that they didn't want to confuse people.

Except they made it even more confusing by changing her name to one that sounds like a more central character (Arya).

Yeah, that House of the Undying thing was one giant confusing WTF at first. Had to have my friend help explain things to me, lol.

Okay so, do you think... (spoilers in white below)

Jon and Dany will end up getting married or end up fighting each other for everything? Assuming Jon Snow lives after his cliffhanger at the end of aDwD of course. Because ya never know, GRRM likes to screw with people. But then he also likes to bring them back from the dead.

I think it could go either way at this point. But I'm leaning towards the former.

I dunno, I think Osha/Asha are a lot worse than Arya/Yara. I mean, it's not like people don't know who Arya is.

This is a great (and long) essay on the topic. Don't read it if you aren't at least through Storm of Swords. NOTE: You have to change the "Scope" at the top to "A Storm of Swords" or later in order to be able to read it:

I made up my own back story for the White Walkers. They come form the original land of Skidoon where they were peaceful creatures. They made their living selling ice carrots and frost bread. They were displaced when the Red Walkers came and destroyed them in a wave of fire and destruction. Aided by the hippie Children Of The Forest, the Red Walkers soon drove the White Walkers to the far reaches of the icy north. But the White Walkers were resourceful, they opened up their own daycare business. Childcare is in their nature.

Not really. Since they can bring the dead back to life.

Also, in the books did they really ride undead horses and have giant spiders? Or is that an HBO thing?

Also, in the books did they really ride undead horses and have giant spiders? Or is that an HBO thing?

You just like them because they have giant spiders.

You see.... I put undead horses first to throw people off my real agenda. Spider info. I wish Don Draper was in GoT, and I wish he got in a fight with The Mountain. I'd love to see his boring worthless face smashed into pieces. Piece of shit......

Ah, the Mountian that Rides...you'll love the way that story arc goes. And it's not even spider related.

Gregor Clegane. Sandor is the Hound, his brother.

Or babies. When the Lannisters took Kings Landing at the end of Roberts rebellion, he smashed the two Targ babies heads against the wall, and raped and killed the queen. A real charmer.

Dude..... that's pretty fucked up right there. Murders babies and rapes their mother? Martin is a weird mofo.

I gotta read the books.

Thus why they'd be good at it.

Yep, they ride dead horses (and elk) in the books.

Last night was a great episode. They added a few things that worked very well, and fast-tracked a couple story-lines, but it makes sense to do so.

Loved the Yoren/Arya scene where he tells her the story. Gives a backstory to her "death list."

Shit is going to start getting good from next week on. Can't wait to read the reactions. :nanner:

Yeah, that should be the last slow episode for a while. Can't wait to see J'aquen in action. Watching Tyrion playing chess while everyone else in King's Landing is still figuring out checkers is entertaining as well.

Can't believe they found such a giant, homely chick to play Brienne, but that was pretty much exactly how I was picturing her in the book.

Theon should have sent the letter to Rob and taken his oath. This war appears to be happing on 3 or 4 fronts, and it isn't even really started yet.
