They should win today because I'm not there. Same story as last year. I went to the first two, they lost, won the third one, I was at home.

That said, they did win quite a few games when I was there last year.

Happy Easter y'all.

Go Matt Kuchar!

Nice start for Lowe.... plenty of sink in the early going.

If he can keep the ball down he probably still has enough to be a valuable starter.

I'm really worried about Brantley being our leadoff hitter.

Not just because he's starting slow, but because he has a .315 career OBP when batting 1st.

I was thinking the same thing. I am expected big things out of him this year but I'm not sure about him. He needs to get in base way more. I also want him to try and steal more bases this season as well. He has the speed to he 25-30 a season.

Be more than worried...Brantley belongs in AAA...Unfortunately the Tribe has no one else to play with Grady on the DL.

Not that robbing HRs is easy, but I thought he should have gotten back to the wall and had a better effort at Kelly Johnson's HR yesterday.

Lowe just cracked all 3 bats that inning, didn't he? I think Lawrie's broke on that little flare to CF.

Dead center isn't easy today I don't think. That might hit someone in the head in Heritage Park in a month or so.

More worried about his laziness and general shitty attitude.

I also anti-loved his lack of effort Thursday on a ball he simply let up on.

Looking forward to him playing somewhere else as soon as possible.

Agree. The tools are there for him to be a solid MLer. The desire just doesn't seem to be.

Third out we've given up on the bases already this year. Two by going on balls in the dirt that weren't nearly far enough away to run on and then one for not sliding.

Apparently Hafner has uncooked eggs in his back pockets?

Nice slide, asshole.

The place will erupt when Kotchman gets a ball out of the IF.

Did he have 135 IF hits last year in TB?

Nope. In his defense, that 0-1 pitch was pretty unhittable. Fouled off the 1-2 curve ball. Wasn't a terrible at bat, just didn't come through.

Too many times have I said that over the first 3 games.

And I'll wait on the obligatory "At least he didn't swing at the first pitch" shot at me.

Completely inappropriate to stop the game and give Kotchman the ball there?

And please. No comments on Kipnis defensively. He has a frying pan on his left hand. If he makes every play hit at him we should be thankful. He's a coin-flip when it's anything else.
