Good SI Article, pretty much sums up the BBall Bucks

A solid SI article doesn't come around often, thought I'd post it.
"I won’t tell you exactly what it’s about, but this is typical of what might happen,'' he said. "I said, ‘Tom, do you want to do this?’ He said, ‘I don’t think I do. I think it’s too much or too strong or whatever.’ I said, ‘well, we might have to.’ And he goes, ‘well, if we have to, then you’ve got to tell me, because I won’t do it.’ And I said, ‘OK, then I might have to tell you. Fine.'''

Pretty much nailed it. One thing that worries me, is that it seems that getting to the final four is a big goal for all these guys. To me, getting to the final four means you had a nice run, but still need two more wins.

I hope the feeling of accomplishment achieved last night does not aid the cool guys in coming out.

I noticed that as well.

Even still, I simply dont see any way this team beats Kentucky. Even Kansas is much more athletic and deep. If Buford finally shows up for a tournament game and Kansas isn't on their A game I could see us getting to the Finals, but beating Kentucky is a mega millions ticket for this bunch, even if they played as well as they did against Duke earlier this season.

I think getting to the Final Four is a great accomplishment for this team all things considered. They are nowhere near as good as last years team.

I think they beat KS, and have to hope for Rick Pitino magic vs. Calipari. Pitino hates UK and is a far superior coach. Hopefully he can pull a rabbit out of the hat. I hate Calipari too FWIW.

One of the announcers was talking yesterday about how OSU's defense was vastly underrated and that they were 2nd in the nation in points per possession. Now I am not here to argue that point either way I'll admit that I don't watch enough college hoops to agree/disagree. However he then went on to say that the number one team in points per possession was Louisville. So generally speaking the 'Cats have to go up against the stingiest two defenses in the country. If Pitino's guys give them fits, maybe the Bucks can lay down some D.

Lee, whaddaya think about davis vs Sullinger? Will Sully's athleticism be too much for that overrated bean pole?

Sully will just pull him outside, being the stretch 4 that he is.

Ur right. He's going to point him into submission. Probably like with a Kevin Love stat line.

I don't think Kansas beats us by twenty.

But I don't see a win that's for sure.

Kentucky = UK,
Kansas = KU.

I was confused as shit. UK beats OSU soundly, KU.... I am not so sure. Could happen, you never know how content a team is with a final four finish.

I was pretty sure e0 was talking Kentucky.

Kansas couldn't beat them by 20 in their house without Sully, so I don't see them winning by 20 this time.

Game will come down to last few minutes. Be interesting to see if Self sticks with the Triangle and 2 down the stretch.

KU is Kansas
UK is Kentucky.

It's always been that way.
