Hey eye. I don't want to start a new thread on this. So I'll sneak it in here. Where do you think UKs Davis projects to the NBA level? As a 4 or a 5? I have not seen a ton of him. But he certainly seems athletic enough to be a 4. And he has shown a bit of a jumper of late as well.

I am shocked, though, how some NBA prospects had sub-par years (according to their hype). PJonesIII and Barnes, specifically. I was hoping for a broader choice of quality draft picks.

No one has played less games than we have to this point. Our schedule should be brutal. AV should sit and heal for most if not all of the remaining games. I think we have a legit shot at a top 5 pick. Tankapalooza 2012.

PJ3 was PJ3. Inconsistent, lacking motor, and having the skills and potential to challenge Davis for the no.1 spot if he would have put it all together. He could be a bust, or he could be a late bloomer. If we pick after Beal is gone (assuming he goes around 5), I really wouldn't have an issue taking a chance on PJ3, even though I like his teammate Quincy Miller better.

Barnes could be a good second banana or great third banana depending on the team, but he needs a team that has good spacing and a pg that can get him the ball where he doesn't have to dribble at all. I don't like the kid, but I wouldn't mind him later in the lottery, where I think he could prove to be good value.

Neither Baylor nor UNC really did their two marquee guys any favors down the stretch.

I'm all in on Bradley Beal. One of the few freshman who didn't come to campus and immediately have to be THE MAN and because of that, he has flown under the radar. Of course he's picked it up in the tourney with everyone watching, so you can all but guarantee he won't be there after the top 5 when before the tourney started, he might have been had between 8-10.

He's a inch or two shorter than I'd like but he's quick, smart, can slash and is a better shooter than he's shown this year. I'd take him #3 overall especially with every other top prospect (Drummond, Sully, Barnes, PG3, etc.) being a disappointment this season.

I thought PJIII showed you EXACTLY what you're getting from him in the tourney.....freakish athleticism (when he turns it on) and a good court vision. If we picked in the lower part of the lottery, I wouldn't hate grabbing him.

That OU/UNC game completely turned me off of Barnes....I haven't seen a guy choke so hard with the game on the line (in this case, in horrifyingly awkward looking ways) since ol' 23 was hiding hairlines.

Can't deny that the lottery this year features some very respectable talent, especially after last year.

Undersized? T-Rob's measurements at the Amare skills academy have him as being the slightly bigger than Al Horford. Does everything pretty well. Would be great in the pick and roll. I'm really high on this kid. Like the big white kid Withey that plays at Kansas too, but he probably won't come out until next year. I would put him top 4 with the other 3 that you listed.

In the late lotto I would love to get PJ3. In the later lotto I think his risk is really worth the possibility of him putting it all together. I actually wouldn't mind Sullinger in the late lotto either (before Eoy comes in with calls of homerism, I'm not an OSU fan).

I think Barnes is going to be a better pro than he was in college. Kid was definitely way overhyped, but with a good point guard he could be dangerous. His first step is always going to hold him back, but he could be good value in the later lotto.

We are in complete agreement on Sully. I think last year I would have been taking him top 5. This year I would be ok with him after Beal and PJ3 are gone, but I think he would be a much better fit on another team unless he measures out bigger than we expect. Would have been a great fit next to Vala. SMH.

I think T-Rob was listed at 6'9 when he came into KU, but nearly everyone has him listed at 6'10 in shoes now. 7'1 wingspan, about 240lbs. He plays big too, not afraid to bang around. I'm really high on this kid, even more so after the article ESPN had on him.
