Saw this last week. He put on a solid 20 this offseason.

I think Shazier is a 3 year player. Last year he was the best LB tOSU had as a freshman with a torn MCL and a HS body.
Mariotti's S&C program is paying huge dividends according to the early returns, if Shazier's progress is indicative of what we can expect from others.... shit. Generally, you can tell a lot about a player's future by what they do as a freshman. I think most of tOSU's impact players were obvious impact players as freshmen. There is a lot to be optimistic about if that holds true. Roby, Shazier, Miller, Smith, are just few that pop in my mind. There are lots of guys that should make a difference in the 12 class.

Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Agree completely. That class will be vital to our NC hopes in 2013, and good thing because a few of them will be gone by 2014.

Shazier played like a possessed demon last year...hit like a truck. Made the rest of LB's look lethargic.
If he put on 20lbs, and kept his quicks, man will he be a F#$$%%cking force this year.
